I like the workout Curves provides. It’s circuit training so there is never a wait to get on the equipment. The workout takes 30 minutes to complete and you add 15 minutes of cool down on your own. It’s great for busy women. I also like the fellowship of the women there. The gym is clean I can’t give this gym 5 stars because I feel the owner is a bit confused about what business she is in. I would like to see more health ideas written on the bulletin boards, maybe some before and after pics of some of the members for motivation, tips on healthier eating habits etc. What I don’t want to see in the gym is: Cash for Gold, ads for self employment from other members, etc. I feel like we are held captive for their self promotions. The hours are also an issue. When asked, they claim it’s because there was a survey done and all the Curves have those hours. They open at 8AM, then close for lunch and close at 8PM. Also closed on Sundays. I feel they are not catering at all to the working woman. Would love to see them open at least at 6AM. This really could be a fantastic gym if the owner would just step up to the plate and make it so.
