My daughter and I needed a quick trim. I booked an appointment for the both of us with Ms. Tina. She was very professional and sweet and friendly!!! I was extremely pleased with my and my daughters hair. Deva Hair Gallery is a vey professional and feel good hair place. Ms. Tina is a keeper!

I went here about 2 months ago and while the ladies were very friendly, I wasn’t too impressed with style and feel of my hair. The style seemed old fashioned and my hair was quite oily which in turn made it look somewhat stringy.

My first time at the salon! It was great, the other stylists were all very nice. Cortez was my stylist, can you say AWESOMEEEEE! He was very professional, fast and did an amazing job with my hair. I have very long hair, he got me in and out within an hour, yes an HOUR! He washed my hair, which felt amazing, he blow dried, cut and flat ironed my hair. I was in and out of the shop within an hour. The atmosphere was very relaxing, jazz music playing and the cost was not expensive at all. I will be returning!

A pleasant change and welcoming experience! It was my very first time at the salon, I made an appointment to come back. The stylists are friendly, the environment clean. My hair was LAID courtesy of Cortez and is precisely how I asked him to do it (straight and flowy without a lot of product). In and out in short of 1.5 hours. I think I found what I’ve been looking for :)

I’m new to DeVa Hair. I found them from the reviews on Unilocal and Facebook. I was nervous at first. But from the time I walked into the salon. I was greeted with a smile by my stylist (Cortez– hope I spelled that right).
Why I rated this salon a 5;
(1) Environment: It was very clean, beautiful and modest décor and friendly. There is no loud blasting music. No gossiping or foul language.
(2) Experience: Cortez, rocked my haircut. OMG… I am smiling as I type. I love my hair and received many compliments since leaving the shop. Not only was the cut exceptional but a client intake card was done about the service & products. Many salons don’t even do this anymore. Kudos.
(3) Location: Okay, for me it literally 5 mins. Love it!
(4) Service: The person that booked my appointment was friendly over the phone. The entire staff took good care of the customers. They offer you coffee, tea or water.
(5) Just because it appears to be a well run business. So often people post because they dislike or had a bad experience. I happy to post because I had a good experience and service.
Keep up the great guys. You deserve 5 stars. I will be back.

Best salon experience I have had in years! I moved to the DMV area 8 years ago and tried to find a good quality hair salon to no avail. Either the customer service was bad, and I felt uncomfortable during my visit or they had trouble styling my long hair. So I decided to just do my hair myself.
My hair started to break off some, so I decided to try and find a salon I could go to regularly again. That’s when I came across Deva. The customer service is great and everyone that works at the salon is nice. The stylist get you in and out instead of having you wait most of the day before your hair is complete. Also my hair is starting to grow back. These ladies specialize in healthy hair care. They talk to you about your hair and give tips and pointers on what you can do at home. I love this salon.

Amazing! The customer servic is unbelievable and I was in and out (relaxer on natural hair, under the dryer and eyebrow waxing) in under 1.5 hours. Amazing! The ladies truly care about making their customers look their best and offer great tips and recommendations. Debbie is awesome and I love my hairstyle!

I maintain my own hair, but whenever I want a new cut or style, this is where I go. Salon is clean, staff is professional and good at what they do. I trust them!!!

Absolutely outstanding service! I was greeted immediately and the stylist talked to me about my hair before getting started. Truly a wonderful experience. I will be back!

This is the best salon experience I’ve ever had in Northern VA. I am from the deep south… Louisiana roots with a Georgia experience. I am not used to going to salons here where folks are quick, relatively inexpensive, knowledgeable, AND friendly. I’d been debating whether or not to get my hair done all week. I finally decided to go for it at about 830 am on Saturday after reading reviews online and knowing someone who got her hair done here before. I called to see if anyone had any availability for that (same) day and Cortez was willing to make the appt for 1pm.
I arrived 12:45 pm to check in and Cortez greeted me at the door, we briefly discussed what I wanted done, and he immediately took me to the shampoo bowl, set my hair with foaming wrap, and put me under the dryer. I was literally under the dryer by 1:10pm.
He blow dried my hair a little bit, trimmed the ends, flat ironed it and I was in my car at 1:44pm. Crazy…(wonderful).
I was impressed that all the stylists hair looked great. Overhearing other conversations between the clients and stylists was refreshing because they all seemed to know what they were talking about and doing. The lady in Cortez’s chair before me, her hair looked amazing. And the overall spirit of of the salon was lighthearted and positive.
I am just really impressed and I will definitely go back to this salon.

They carry Keracare products for purchase. Friendly, fast service, and professional. Shampoo, conditioner, set, and style in and out in about an hour. I have never waited longer than about 3 minutes from the moment I open the door to start my service.

My wife’s hair looks healthier than I remember seeing it.

These ladies specialize in black hair and hair care. Not only will you look good but you’ll have healthy hair.
