Javier Gadea (a Peruvian native), is well on his way to becoming one of the DMV’s freshest new photographers and media artists. In response to an ad that he placed, Javier took more than 130 free images on one of the warmest, autumn days we had in Reston. To my artistic sensibility, Javier showed his innate curiosity, flexibility and creativity in using his Nikon to stretch beyond conventional use.
Javier was patient, helped me to relax for posing and was easy to work with; free and liberal in his approach. Not at all hesitant in making suggestions and guiding the photo session to use the natural backdrops, we had many options working with interesting waterscapes at Plaza America.
