The staff has been much friendlier the last few times we have gone. My daughter said her sandwich was amazing. =)

Oh, Firehouse Subs. You are so very yummy. Your hot sandwiches are amazing. Today I brought my family to eat lunch, and I tried the club sub for the first time. Just melt-in-your-mouth awesome. Very satisfying! My hard to please son had the Sriracha Beef sandwich and loved it, because he doesn’t like anything unless it’s covered in Sriracha. My other kids had meatball subs. They were very impressed with the melted cheese and the overall yumminess. My wife had her usual Italian sub, which is always perfect for her.

Yes! This place has the most delicious sandwiches you will ever taste. They are delicious and moist and delicious and flavorful and delicious and… Did I mention delicious? I am a sandwich lover to start with. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t just love any sandwich. But a sandwich that is properly made rivals most other meals. And this place has it figured out!!! They steam their meat and cheese before placing it on a deliciously toasted piece of bread. I’m telling you, folks, I heard angels singing while I was biting into this loaf of deliciousness. Not only am I planning to return but I’ve already been there three times in the past week. Yup, five big shiny stars up there. All five of ‘em.

I guess Firehouse Subs isn’t my thing. This was my second visit to a Firehouse Subs — and first visit to this location in Manassas — and I have been underwhelmed to the point where Firehouse Subs is way down on my list of options for a sub. Let me be clear — my rating has nothing to do with the clean interior and solid customer service that I’ve received at both locations I’ve tried. Firehouse Subs does the«little things» that builds a loyal following well. I just simply think their subs — and especially their meats — are a bit bland. I tried a New York Steamer on my visit to their Germantown location and it was so bland that I couldn’t give more than 2 stars. This time I tried the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket … I definitely liked it better, but it was still just an «OK» sandwich. The cheese sauce was really thin and almost indistinguishable on the sandwich — and that was ordering it without the Sweet Baby Ray’s. The brisket was tender but with only a very slight smoky flavor. I had to rely on the fairly heavy application of mayo and their excellent bread to please my taste buds. My wife ordered the Club on a Sub and was also underwhelmed. There are some bright spots to Firehouse Subs. Their bread is really good. And they feature Coca-Cola Freestyle at all of their locations. But that’s not enough to get me to pick Firehouse over Jersey Mike’s, Jimmy John’s, Penn Station, or any local pizza joint that serves subs. I’ll give this one 3-stars because the sandwich I chose here was«OK», but that’s about the ceiling for Firehouse Subs in my book.

My dad and I come here constantly. One thing to know about me is when I go to an eatery/restaurant I get the same thing. I am a picky eater. I have to say though I usually go for meatball, I have tried a few of their sandwiches, the steak and cheese or the beef brisket being some close favorites. Also the amount of hot sauces they have on display is worth it alone. Nice staff, and(as my grandma would have brought up) they actually put meat on their subs, a must for anyone ready for a sandwich that can fill you up!
