My wife and my favorite spot to grab some coffee and chill time. Very cool«Mom & Pop» coffee café with a wide variety of options to choose from. I’ve recently forgone buying fresh coffee from stores and stop by here weekly to re-up! If you’re in the mode for some fresh coffee(and a great chocolate chip cookie) definitely stop by!

The coffee here was great, and the sandwich was lovely. But the thing that I loved the most was the service! Trevor was a lovely man and made everyone there feel welcome, always with a smile! Because of Trevor, this isn’t just another regular coffee shop. It has a relaxing homey feel. I’ll definitely be back!

I do not like giving bad reviews, its not my thing. But I do like giving honest reviews. I honestly was really disappointed in this shop especially after such rave reviews I had read online. I am a coffee connoisseur, I live breath and eat coffee. I had left a fantastic local coffee shop back home and have been carefully looking for something comparable. When I first stepped in the shop it had more of a gas station convenience store feel than a quaint coffee shop, but I wasn’t going to let that shake me, I had high hopes. The menu had a lot of variety and kinda was all over the place. I ordered a caramel mocha and my husband ordered a reg mocha and a bacon egg and cheese panini. As we were sitting waiting the place did not appear to be kept up or really appear clean. There was a coating of dust on the AC vents and a nice thick coat of grease on panini press that I could see from behind the counter. I was a bit concerned at this point mainly because I did not see nor here the sound of an espresso machine at all, and had notices how coffee was being stored in small thermos’s that you would find free samples being givin away in. Again brushed it off with some excuse. Our oder totaled to around $ 22 which kinda surprised me for what we ordered but I had hopes that my experience would be exceptional. The wait was not terrible and in fact I’m used to waiting longer for a great cup of coffee. Our panini’s came out shortly first of all they were not on panini bread but a hoagie roll, which I am not apposed to but still. The food was good and hot, but it was NOT a $ 7 dollar panini. So I get my mocha and I don’t know what made me want to open my coffee lid but I did, and I see froth on the top of a mocha… which if you know anything about coffee froth does not go on a mocha… that is a latte thing, but I like lattes so I think what the heck. It seriously was the worst coffee I have ever had. It did not taste like a mocha and it did not taste like a latte. It tasted like hot watered down milk with a drop of caramel syrup… I did not taste any coffee or espresso in it at all! I tasted my husbands mocha hoping that maybe mine was just mistake. Nope his had been frothed as well and tasted like a package of hot chocolate had been opened in some milk and a few table spoons of coffee. It was literally undrinkable. I had to throw it away. I don’t know if the barista has had no formal training or if it is the lack of good equipment(or possible that they don’t have an espresso machine?) or if it truly is the fact that they know nothing about the art of coffee. Maybe if you went in and got a plain drip it would be fine, but me personally would rather brew my own drip/pour over/frenchpress/coldbrew at home If I just want a plain cup of coffee. Just very disappointed. Now on the positive note the people in the shop were great, kind and friendly, and the service was great, but what will keep me from coming back is the atmosphere and lack of quality coffee. It is such a shame because I feel like the idea behind this coffee shop is great and that it has so much potential but just lacks direction and experience.

My very favorite place to get coffee. There is great variety in the coffee menu with lots of creative combinations, and there is always someone to chat with – a nice small town experience.

Great little coffee shop-nothing fancy– with a surprisingly extensive drink menu and reasonable prices. Had a delicious dirty chai today. Friendly staff. The service has over the last few months, as well. I just wish they opened earlier in the morning so I could get coffee before getting on the VRE.

Got a couple drip coffees and picked up a growler of cold brew and bag of beans. This place peddles Monument Coffee which is THEABSOLUTEBESTAROUND. Today they were brewing the Kenya which was very smooth and great flavors. Ambiance is a bit odd with the popcorn maker and ice cream bins, but the location and quality of the coffee easily make up for it.

Grounds Central Station is located in OT Manassas. This cute little coffee shop is located opened back in May of ’10 and offers a variety of coffee beverages, smoothies, teas, breakfast paninis/sandwiches, ice cream, and other baked goods. You can also purchase bags of Monument brand coffee. I tried one of their ‘Main Street Favorites,’ the ‘Love Potion No. 9′ — this is a white chocolate with cinnamon coffee drink — very strong, not too sweet, creamy, and had a nice little touch of cinnamon. It was actually pretty tasty! I also tried a Coconut Cream Brownie and a Raspberry Cheesecake Brownie — these seemed to be baked on the premise. I wasn’t really a fan of these, as they were more dark chocolate and bitter — it was also more on the dry side; the Coconut Cream had hardly a coconut taste to it, and the Raspberry Cheesecake didn’t emulate a cheesecake at all and was more brownie focused. We were greeted right away when we walked in, and the barista was such a sweetheart: D There were plenty of tables and some chairs throughout where you can do some work, chit-chit, and/or enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Limited parking along Main Street. +‘Love Potion No. 9′ +friendly barista! +limited parking on Main Street

Great customer service! Local to the VRE I have been coming for a little over a month and have tried a good assortment of their items. I have been happy with everything I have ordered(good sized sandwiches for the price). My girlfriend loves the tea selection. This place is growing in popularity and can get busy on weekends. Added bonus is the ice cream! Free wifi and comfortable place to hang out and field emails. Good outside seating area If they keep it up they may need a bigger space.

Coffee wasn’t too bad. Daughter really enjoyed the cream drink the barista whipped up for her. I’m not a Starbucks fan by any means, but I do miss my local shop in New Orleans, this place is pretty close to it.

I love Grounds Central Station for a weekend morning iced mocha before walking around Old Town Manassas. Service can be a little slow as there’s usually only one person working, so this isn’t a place for someone in a hurry. Staff members are friendly and orders come out perfectly!

Love the atmosphere of the shop and its surroundings. The small garden next door is a great place to sit and drink, if the weather permits it, and the inside is filled with local art and photography which is also a bonus. I’ve have their smoothies and Thai teas and both were very good and I have returned to the shop multiple times to get them again. It just has that small town«we care about how our things taste» feel and that seems to be harder to come by nowadays.

Ok the coffee is good but I missed my train. This is the summary. Great coffee and understaffed. Manassas is sleepy town but in the morning there are more commuters like myself who round out Manassas down town for the train. Probably don’t need a huge staff but maybe some morning help would do. Are there any hipsters in Manassas that want to work at a small coffee shop to help a brother out. Did I mention its a small business? Hipsters please help this man so I can get great coffee and make the train on time.

Best coffee place for miles! Super friendly staff. Their blended drinks and iced teas are amazing! Not super sugary or flavored. Awesome pastries too. Something else I recommend that’s in their fridge is the espresso coconut water. Really refreshing! This place is my go to while I work remotely/from home and barge my BMW i3 down the road.

I really enjoyed my cinnamon bun latte made with half the syrup per the barista’s suggestion when I expressed concern it would be too sweet. My daughter also enjoyed her mango smoothie. The barista takes his time to make a great drink which makes for a little longer wait but people did not seem to mind. Nice alternative to Starbucks.

I love this place so much. I can in around 7 p.m. And they close at 8 p.m. There was no one there only me witch was a good thing because it was my first time there. I was looking at the menu and they have a HUUUGGGEEE selection of coffee, tea, and sandwiches. I ended up not knowing what to get so I got a large tea, the BLT sandwich, and a muffin. There sandwich is amazing! Perfectly made, grilled, and made fast. I recommend the BLT sandwich. The tea was very good too. I had the Orange spice tea and they only give you the hot water and you have to put the tea bag in and all that. Witch isn’t bad because hey it’s not that hard. I had the strawberry muffin and let me tell you it was the most amazing muffin ever. The girl that worked there was very nice, friendly, and helpful. She did everything she was spoused to do. I have her a $ 2 tip. Well trained workers! In the restaurant they even have a piano and an ice cream bar. Free books to read. Two comfy chairs by the window. It is very vintage like and honestly it is 100x better than Starbucks. I’m going there again. I recommend!

After having been wanting to try a little local café I hunted here around on Unilocal and found this place. All the reviews seemed pretty good and I kept reading about their mounds mocha — I love coconut but it seems that very few coffee shops have it unless it’s summer so I was pretty excited for that. So my husband and I came one Saturday morning. Little did we know a parade was going on so we had to park a ways and walk. The place was packed and chaotic. Some family of four was painstakingly ordering in front of us, nit picking over what was going into the hot chocolates they were ordering for their children. Even going to the point of looking at the label of the chocolate they would put into the drinks. Ridiculous. Due to how busy it was the employees seemed quite frazzled, but still friendly. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one bacon egg and cheese, the other with sausage, and one medium iced mocha and one iced mocha with coconut. $ 23 total, a littler more than I would like to pay for breakfast but oh well. About 5 minutes after waiting an employee came up to inform me they did not have coconut and if I would like anything else in it. Rather disappointing as that was the main reason for me being there. So I got Irish cream instead. The mochas came out hot, as opposed to iced how we had asked for. But the stream of people coming in was still steady and we just wanted to get out of there. We got our sandwiches and left. I really liked mine, and it was a huge sandwich, two people could easily share one. But the mochas were the most terrible ones we have ever had. They had the weirdest after taste. Both of them. The lids on the cups also had a very strong plastic odor that was unappetizing. So weird. I will try them one more time, on a week day when its hopefully not so busy. And I imagine their lunch sandwiches would be quite good so I’d like to try them. Maybe, hopefully, they will have coconut during the summer?

Small coffee shop located in old town — friendly staff, not a lot of tables, but very expansive, reasonably priced menu. They have a lot of neat speciality drinks(the«Mounds,» cinnamon roll, strawberry mocha just to name a few). I got a decaf mounds and was happy with the flavor tho it seemed light on the coconut. Will definitely return to try the other options(strawberry mocha has me intrigued).

Well I’m enchanted, cute old school coffee shop with an extensive menu board for a variety of hot and cold drinks, including boba! They also have a food menu and some homemade sweets. Nestled right on Main Street, it’s quaint but spacious enough to house a big crowd and even have outdoor seating for the warmer weather. It’s warm yet minimal with artwork on the wall for sale from local artisans. There’s even a white piano in the back that I bet is awesome when someone with talent walks in with an itch to play. If I lived in town, this would be a daily haunt because it’s worth the walk even in the cold for the friendly atmosphere and piping hot beverages. Btw, try the Cinnabun Latte! Mmmmmmmm…
