Was on my way home and decided to try this place out for the first time. From a first glance, it looked like a small run down family diner with an unexpected homey feeling to it. They had a small section of on the go food on display. To be honest, it didn’t look too appealing and neither did some of the pictures on the menu. The menu mostly consists of breakfast sandwiches, breakfast dishes, random korean style dishes, and cold/warm subs. It was interesting to see options like bibimbap at a deli. Rather than a deli, I would say heiney’s fits the profile of a diner better. I ordered the reuben and steak/egg/cheese sub. Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good. I wouldn’t say it blew my mind, but it was good enough for me to want seconds. I never had a traditional new york style reuben before, so I can’t really say that it is up to standards but I was satisfied. Prices are relatively cheap, owners are really nice, and the bathrooms were office clean. If you are looking for a new place to try where you can relax, give this place a go.

I was trying to order a club sandwich from here and the first thing I noticed is they didn’t have a menu to view online. It was really great that the person who answered was really willing to make anything I may want. Ordering the sandwich took a little patience since the person on the phone couldn’t understand English. I finally ordered and then they called me back to double check my address. This again took some time and I had to give them driving directions. After an hour they called me back again needing directions, at this point I decided that I was not willing to continue the ordering process. I just wish that they could either speak or understand English.

Great place! Friendly service! Hot or cold subs/sandwiches that are made to order. I have not tried their breakfast yet, but I plan to. It’s good to see a local sub shop in an area riddled with big franchised restaurants everywhere.

I have seen this place for years but this is the first time I am trying it. Ordered the Cajun Chicken sub. Have to say was a really good sandwich. Spicy with great flavor and lots of veggies. Good bread. Place was clean and staff friendly. Looking forward to trying the breakfast.

We have been going here for at least 3 years now. Pretty much every Saturday until we moved an hour away but we still will do the drive just for the food! Their food is amazing and their staff is so warm and welcoming. Highly recomended

My office orders breakfast from this place multiple times a week due to their speed in delivery and their sheer deliciousness. Their breakfast platters will fill you up and the spicy steak and cheese sub(my personal favorite) is pretty awesome.

So, I’d say 3.5 is probably more fair, but I saw another review give three for a real 3.5 and I was really hungry when we went there, so… I had the steak and cheese, but I’m more of a traditionalist, so no mayo, lettuce, etc. — Just the cheese, baby. The sandwich was flavorful, but maybe just slight dry. That wouldn’t have been a problem if I had let them put on the mayo, though. The bread was good and I watched the Asian woman really working the sub roll. First drying out one side on a toaster and then butter and on the grill to crisp it up. The bread was really good… The fries were nothing special in that I’m sure they are some frozen variety, but somehow she got the fries really crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. So, even though I wouldn’t put them up against the best fries I’ve had, I would definitely get them again. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich and I go t a couple bites of that, too. Also a tasty sandwich and with the same great bread. Not a place I’d way out of my way for, but a solid deli worth getting to know.

More like 3.5 stars… Had lunch here today for the first time. The menu contains all the normal Deli suspects sub and sandwich-wise, as well as burgers, dogs, fries, onion rings. They also offer breakfast foods at breakfast time as well as a breakfast buffet. At lunch time, the buffet area is stocked with some asian style hot foods. I ordered a Steak and Cheese Sub: real steak meat, provolone cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and hot peppers(hot pepper relish), plus french fries and a bottle of cold water. A couple of nice little Asian ladies were working the counter. The lady who took my order was very friendly and talkative. While I was waiting for my order — a number of regulars came in to order food — you could tell they knew the place and she greeted each one of them and had a conversation with them. Most folks were coming in to order food to go. My Steak and Cheese was a solid sub, I’d prefer more substantial hot peppers instead of the hot pepper relish, oh well. The fries were hot and crisp — crinkle cut, but they were just slightly greasy. Good service and nice folks! I will definitely add this place to my Deli rotation for the Manassas area.
