Beware of Innovative Outdoor Living/​Deckorators Design and Build. Contract was signed on May 27, 2015 and at this point 90% of funds have been paid. They have since abandoned the job site. The deck is at best 25% complete. Jon and Erica have made multiple promises to resume work, deliver materials, and provide updates of work. Similar to other complaints, all they have offered are lame excuses (one as silly as poison ivy).
DO NOT DO BUSINESS with the Parsons’ or their company. They are incompetent and dishonest at best — criminal at worst. I also feel like a lawsuit will be our only recourse.

I echo all of the poor comments posted before me. They took our money, abandoned our project, and do not return phone calls or emails.

This company used to be called Deckorators before they got some bad press last year. We did a deck project with them 3 years ago that we liked. We called John back in March to add a screened porch to the deck, gave him a $ 17,000 deposit and have had not heard a word from him since. The project was supposed to be finished in May. We are pursuing legal action to try to get our money back. Avoid this company!!!
