This was my first try with this spot after doing classes off and on at Swim Kids in Gainesville. This was much closer and when I checked it out it looked like a nice pool. The front desk lady was very nice and thorough in explaining the options. They’re a little more competitive on pricing than Swim Kids. But after this first class I can say I really wasn’t wowed by the instructor. She didn’t really seem to have the personality or temperament for smaller kids. I barely saw her smile or say an encouraging word. To be fair, the levels at swim kids and kids first don’t correspond, therefore my son was signed up for a level 3 which was way beyond his skills and ability. He was younger than both of the other kids there. He’s going to move to a different timeslot, one level down. But when I asked who will be teaching the level 2 class, the administrator stated it would be the same teacher. She’s probably just a kid herself, but I did like the bubbly personality displayed by the instructors of his previous swim school. It was just the first class. Hopefully it will get better and I’ll update the review.
