The chorizo breakfast burritos were delicious! The green jalapeño sauce was fantastic! Though we got ours to go, the restaurant itself is really nice and the owners friendly.

Great spot for a breakfast burrito. They have a very friendly staff also. I’ll be back.

Thanks to the other reviews on here we tried Lorena’s for breakfast this morning. Delicious! I had the huevos rancheros and Joe had a breakfast burrito. The amount of food is perfect and the burrito was huge. Joe approved. The interior is clean and the owner is very nice and friendly. The beans and the pico were just incredible. I would totally go here again, and will!

Nice local deli. I visited over the weekend and ordered a steak sandwich, a club sandwich, and fries. All freshly made and served quickly. Staff is a family, very friendly and a pleasure talk with while they made my food. I will be coming back to have breakfast which they serve all day.

what kind of a star rating does one give when the business is not open during the posted hours ??? i gave it 3. less seems mean more is gratuitous.
I was SO looking forward to eating at Lorena’s and even waited until an hour after opening on their posted hours. I unfortunately ended up having breakfast at another local eatery .
perhaps next time .
maybe the locals want to have the hours updated ??

The breakfast here was delicious. I had the sandwich sub and my bf had the omelette. Food was great and so where the staff. Definitely recommend it.

Our server was adorable. Such a cute personality. She did take a while to deliver my husband’s soda, but was so sweet about it, you couldn’t be upset.
I ordered bacon and egg breakfast tacos and they were very good. They came with crema, pico de gallo, and a cold bean dip. I don’t know if the beans were meant to be warm– they would’ve been better if they were. My tacos were very good. There were green peppers in them and those usually repeat on me. They didn’t– and the 2 of 3 tacos I ate kept me full for a very long time! I had a side of sweet plantains and they were fantastic!
The husband had a breakfast burrito. It was huge. There were far too many tater tots in them for him, but it was a good breakfast overall. He did say next time he’d have the tacos to skip the potatoes in the burrito.
The service was quick– besides the drink mishap, the food was fresh and good and the service was friendly. We enjoyed it here and will definitely return for another try!

Great burritos!

Best Ruben sandwich in Northern Virginia! No doubt about it. Suggestion — split the sandwich with someone (it’s really filling) and get the homemade soup of the day.

Amazing homemade breakfasts and the staff are always so friendly. The Desayuno Típico is my favorite, freshly made scramble eggs with plantains and fried beans and cream with two tortillas.

Finally a place over here where I can get an actual chorizo burrito like in Cali and its actually the same size! I’m not a fan of beans but theirs was fresh homemade and was super delish! The owner was super friendly, he was the one making the food too. Don’t let the tobacco shop smell next door discourage you from going here because once I started eating my burrito I totally forgot about it! I will most definitely be coming back here plenty of times!

I moved to NOVA from Dallas, TX. Lived there nearly 15yrs and had the best Tex-​mex and breakfast burritos around. Lorena’s Deli reminds me of the good stuff. I will be back very, very frequently!

Simple layout. Got a steak burrito and was happy with it. The bit sauce at the table could use some more spice.
Place needs some decorating. Very plain interior.

Chorizo breakfast burrito hits hard with flavor and size, the sight of it now makes my mouth water. Pupusas were alright, I wouldn’t complain but I wouldn’t go there just to order them. Very well priced and friendly service make this a close tie with Kim’s Deli.

Ever since I read Jalon Z.‘s review of this place and he mentioned how good the breakfast burritos are — I knew I had to find my way over here one day and try one out! He was not kidding!
I’ve been in here twice now — once for lunch, got a Italian cold cut style sub to go; and today I came to eat in and try out the breakfast burrito.
The sub was rather ordinary — if I was writing this review solely based on the sub, it would’ve been a 2 – 3 star review. However, the breakfast burrito is awesome! You choose your meat — your choices are bacon, sausage, ham, or Chorizo. I went with the Chorizo. It will also include eggs, cheese, onions, bell peppers, etc.
My plate came out with the Burrito (I cut it in half before taking a photo — looked yummier with the innards exposed!), plus some Black Bean refried beans, some Pico de gallo, and crema. Lorena also came running out a minute later after bringing me the Burrito — with a side of hot sauce — not something in a bottle, but I suspect, something she makes (I didn’t ask). It was excellent hot sauce and complimented the Burrito perfectly. It had a wonderful intersection of heat and flavor! The Burrito with that hot sauce was divine. Filling and delicious!
You can also order more traditional breakfast sandwiches, hash browns, etc.
I’ll be back for more Burritos and to try some other things!

I have been ordering their ham, cheese, & egg breakfast sandwich. It is served on a texas toast kind of sandwich bread. It’s really good & I recommend it. So why did I give it 2 stars you ask? Because I tried a breakfast burrito when I came with my best friend. She ordered her burrito with chorizo. I didn’t know what chorizo was so she explained it to me which sounded delish so I asked for chorizo in mine too. The guy who took our order was surprised that I didn’t know what chorizo was. He seemed offended & I really didn’t know what the big deal was. I wasn’t rude about it & actually wanted to try it. The guy at the register was really rude to me afterwards & gave a big stink about it. Because of this I won’t be coming back. I don’t like to feel uncomfortable at eateries. I kept getting stares while I ate to see if I liked it. Just ask me if I like it, don’t stare at me all the time.
I’m being generous with 2 stars. Lorena is really nice if you ever get to meet her. She is pregnant so I think she might have gave birth. I haven’t seen her in a bit. She needs to come back with her great personality & welcoming spirit.

If you like fresh, home made deli sandwiches you must stop in and meet Carlos & Lorena.
Open only for three months they are growing their business as a start-​up leveraged from their catering business.
They are in a small strip center off Route 28 near the 234 PWC Parkway Interchange between the Tokyo Barber’s and the Pipe Shop.
I ordered take out but they have four booths and a bright and well decorated restaurant.
I wanted some soup with chicken and rice as i’ve not been able to score any at area mexican or latino restaurants in my Manassas hood.
You also get a grilled cheese with this great $ 4.99 value. It was delicious, excellent, muy sabroso!
I also orderd a chicken salad sandwich, toasted, it comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo… another excellent sandwich.
I rounded it out with a delicious slice of homemade pumpkin pie, it was exceptional!
I was VERY impressed talking with Carlos and his wife to learn of their commitment to quality, service and affordability.
If you’re are in this area you MUST check this place out.
