Manassas Locksmith

This is a scam company using multiple fake business names and addresses to make you believe they are legitimate. They are not registered with the Virginia Department Of Criminal Justice Services as required by law. They will bait you in by quoting a really cheap prices and then charge you triple what a legitimate company will!

I was completely ripped off by this company tonight. The locksmith was 30 minutes late and showed up in a really beat up white dodge caravan with no logo or identifying marks to show he was from Manassas Locksmith. No t shirt. Nothing. I knew I should have had a male friend wait in the parking lot with me because this man definitely made me feel uncomfortable. Completely unprofessional. On the phone I was told the rate started at $ 50. Since I had the most simple job for a locksmith I thought it should be pretty close to $ 50. My keys were sitting in plain sight on the back seat. It took him less than thirty seconds to open the door and he charged me $ 195!!! He didn’t even have a card reader for my credit card, instead he put it under a piece of paper and rubbed a pencil over it to make a copy of the numbers. Completely sketchy. I immediately canceled my card once I got home because I did not trust that man or this company. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! I made a complaint to the company, but since they are scammers I doubt anything will come of it.

The absolutely worst service ever in my life; should have checked Unilocal first before looking for locksmith. Daughter and baby locked out of house in cold for over 3 hours before they showed up – had to wait for ridiculous credit card authorization process; guy shows up and thinks someone is locked out of car and then asks for credit card info previously provided.

Call someone else! They give you a reasonable rate on the phone and when they get there they’ll jack up the rate by more than 3 times the quote! And they tell you at 10:30 pm that they charge more because it’s the middle of the night! WTF! They’re open 24 hrs! It’s a BS company. Try someone else.
