Typical Michael’s store. The employees here are really helpful and a lot of people were always trying to get one of them to help. They have a lot of supplies and a lot of different things to shop for. I wasn’t able to get most things on my list like Mineral Spirits but they have so much to choose from for every craft.

This is my favorite Michael’s location… dare I even say I like it more than the Fair Oaks store. Every time I come here, I get lost in a world of crafting chaos… and I end up leaving with much more than I anticipated purchasing. I went in recently to look at adult coloring books… as I have heard they are a great form of meditation. Silly me, went to the Crayola isle and started looking around. There were a few «upscale» books that I thought looks decent so I grabbed them. I few minutes later, a staff member walked by me, looked in my cart and asked if I was joining the «adult color rage club», HUH?. She smiled and said that adult coloring had become all the rage recently and there were people buying these coloring books faster than they could keep them on the shelves. I mentioned that there were not that many options left so I believed her. She asked me if I had seen the «wall of books located in the back»…uh no… I just went to the kids coloring isle. We walked to the back of the store, and there it was… the mecca of adult distractions! There is in fact a WALL of different style activities meant for adult relaxation.
This proves my point that Michael’s does in fact … have everything you can think of if you feel like being artsy and crafty. The staff is really nice and I’ve always felt that they go out of the way to help you find things and they even help me stay focused when my crafting ideas get bigger than my brain. It’s a Pinterest lover’s dream!

Like every other Michaels. You want to run for the hills upon entering or you might be over ran by grandmas, cat ladies or your crazy co-​worker.
The parking was a little crazy because it shares with multiple other stores which can cause for frustrating and road rage.
All in all you get what you expect at this location.

The worse customer service ever!!! They had a 25% off your entire purchase until 7pm, I got in line to check out at 6:40 don’t get to the one cashier until 6:55. At which point they won’t honor the price match with AcMoore because the ad is on my phone and not the actual paper ad. Here’s the kicker I can’t even go to AcMoore to do the price match because the coupon ends at 7pm and it took 20 minutes to inform me I need the paper ad. No courtesy discount, nothing!!! AcMoore would have taken the coupon on my phone and I would not have had to wait 20 minutes for items I didn’t get purchase. The employees were more concerned with quitting time, failing to take into consideration that if there are still customers in the store you can’t leave till they are done with their purchase. Won’t be coming back to this store.

Love this store! I took a cake decorating class here and the teacher was outstanding! Also, they always give me my teacher discount!

This location is just okay — the stores in Gainesville and Fair Oaks usually have a better selection. Staff is not very helpful or friendly.

i can not get over how HORRIBLE this store is. The staff has no idea where anything is, they give attitude as you check out and they never restock properly. there are always ladders and boxes out, i cant believe they have gotten away with it the way that they have. i love michaels but i wish that whole staff would get revamped because they are going to be missing out on a lot of business.

Michael’s is such a cool and serene place to shop — my go to location originally when I lived in the City of Fairfax was the location in Pan Am Shopping Center — and then when I moved to Centreville — the one located in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center.
For now — the closest Michael’s is in Manassas (they are building one in Gainesville that should open this Fall).
I found the perfect lined baskets to go on the Train Rack wall shelves in my downstairs half bathroom — two of ‘em!
This location was very clean, very organized, light and airy, and well-​stocked!
