BUT check out their heating oil price BEFORE you have them deliver.
They just charged me $ 3.39 a gallon; a FULL DOLLAR PER GALLON above the market price and what their competitors are now charging and above what even they are charging new customers. On a 182 gal delivery that is a $ 619.71 prices verses what their competitors would have charged me, $ 418.60. You do the math!

During a frustrating wait to get the gas utility to complete an oil to gas conversion at my residence, I was faced with sub-​zero temps and dwindling oil levels in my tank. I didn’t want to purchase a full tank of oil because I was expecting the conversion to happen within a week or two. I contacted several companies in the area and none would sell a very small amount of oil to help me out. The gentleman I spoke with at Griffith understood my dilemma and agreed to deliver the required small amount. Additionally, I was about to lose suction in the tank because it was so low, and he got it to me the same day. Considering that he knew I would not be a repeat customer (converting to gas and no longer using oil) he still facilitated the delivery. It took a while to write this review but I felt it was indicative of a company (at least of one of their better representatives) that was willing to help out an area resident.
