Paisano’s Pizza

When the person taking your order tells you 45 minutes or less, they have set the expectation of when you will receive your order. I called after one hour and was told, «It’s on the way. There are other orders being delivered too.» As your customer, this is not the response I am looking for. Apologize or call your driver to see how much longer it will be. Our food was delivered at the 1 hour and 10 minute mark. What makes it worse is that the pizza was cold, fries were soggy and inedible, and the fried mushrooms were lukewarm. Terrible customer service and concerns were not addressed. I will not be ordering from this location every again! I would not recommend based on this experience.

I have recently moved back. HORRIBLE! I asked for crispy chicken ceaser salad they burned the chicken (I meant fried) smh and said I asked for crispy?! Ummm THAT’S NOT what I meant. Well they didn’t offer to fix it waste of my $ 33 (I was taking a friend out for lunch out welcome back meeting) I give them another chance and order take out got a chicken parm sandwich GROSS that was grilled too! No sauce tasted microwaved rubbery chicken. I’m done with you. Fairfax Paisanos way better Used to work near there NEVER had a problem.

To me, it’s hit or miss. Sometimes they can have some really good food and sometimes it’s just good.

I can only speak for this particular one but it’s so good it’s become a weekly staple for us. Kids love the spaghetti, ravioli, or meatballs, and we’re always happy with the pizza. But ask for yogurt sauce on the side otherwise it’ll be all over your gyro. The zeppolis are good too!

I will give credit for the white pizza, which was yummy. I will, however, take points off for not having fresh mozzarella, as advertised, and very little basil on the margherita pizza, which also doesn’t have fresh tomatoes.

Awesome place, i come from a hospitality background and this is by far one of the best customer Service spots in town. Also the pizza is the best pizza i have tasted since moving back to va. 5 stars to paisano’s and the staff for making me fill at home with their customer service and food.

Great place to eat. I bought meat lovers pizza and wings. Those wings were so amazing. Have to go back.

Was not impressed at all. When I called to make an order they put me on hold, so I figured they must be popular, but waited 45 minutes for my order to get to my apartment (I got a medium half white pizza, half plain, with 6 garlic knots), and it was cold.
This review is coming from a NY/​NJ transplant, and I know once you leave the area it’s rarely, if ever, the same.
They also got my order wrong. When I said half plain they gave me pizza with only cheese, no sauce. It tastes like cheesy bread from Domino’s, I can still taste it. The white pizza wasn’t bad, but both were very heavy on the garlic.
The garlic knots had zero flavor. They were burnt and the tomato sauce included with them was bland.
I don’t see myself ordering from them again. For a place that rates itself well (their menu gloats a lot on their product) I give it a poor rating for lackluster food and inadequate service.
Tony’s is the better option, but they don’t deliver. Oh well, guess you can’t have everything.

Since my original review I’ve knocked off 3 stars because of a really bad experience that was not adequately addressed by the management. There were also several really average experiences, with lukewarm food and overall middling food quality, leading up to it, but they’re not why I’m back here to update what was previously a very enthusiastic, 5-​star review.
The reason for this update is that I ordered a large order (60 dollars) about 3 weeks ago and it took over an hour to arrive and was cold. Very cold. Bordering on inedible. I left a complaint on the official Paisano’s website (the first time I’ve ever done this, usually the food has been high quality and the few times where it wasn’t quite as expected I just let it slide because of how good the overall quality has been) and a few days later the manager of the restaurant called me to offer a 10% or 15% discount and/​or free entrée with my next order. I couldn’t really tell if it was one or the other, or both, but that’s irrelevant, because even both doesn’t come close to fixing the original problem. That’s simply not how «good customer service» works. If you don’t value long term, high volume customers then you simply don’t retain them. The amount of food I’ve ordered from Paisano’s over the years makes a coupon for a totally botched order insulting. That’s the bottom line, and that was my last Paisano’s order.
Even if Paisano’s online support does damage control (and I’m sure they will because they noticed the original 5 star review and thanked me here on Unilocal) I’m not coming back. Not because of the single extremely bad experience, or the fact that the manager did not adequately address it, but because of the overall decline in quality over my last several orders. It would take a lot to get me to give them another chance.

Dry, cold, and diced topping… Wish i could get my money back…

I have been a long time Piasanos fan and customer. I have always received hot fresh pizza and awesome salads and was always pleased until…
I moved and started ordering from the manassas location. They had a major bungle on my first order and by the time I finally received it the pizza was «dead» and cold. The mozzarella salad had been tossed around, it was obvious by how the pieces were all over and there was tomato juice all over the other boxes. The free dessert thing was also greasy and dead cold.
I complained loudly and for a 40.00 order, they offered up only a medium pizza.
Ordered the medium pizza and it also arrived dead and cold. The mozzarella cheese was so cold it was like rubber. There was literally no pizza sauce on it at all.
Very disappointed and the manager seems to be helpless to do anything to replace bad orders, other than a 20% discount or a medium pizza, so I am just not ever ordering from them again nor do I recommend them.
Never had a bad experience with the Piasanos in DC or Alexandria area

I refuse to eat here anymore! I have been disgusted by the incompetence of your employees for the LAST time! It is sad that as LONG time customer I have to take my business elsewhere because your employees can’t comprehend a simple order. I have put up with enough and refuse to do it any longer! Unless some BIG changes are made never again will I order from your restaurant.

I like going here. I love their greek salad and veggie pizza. It’s a little expensive but a good treat every once in awhile.

This place is the best delivery place in Prince William County. They are very nice and will go out of their way to make sure your order is correct and it always is … The food is very good and lots of it. Paisanos you will be getting more of our business you can count on that…

Best Philly steak and cheese in town hands down, relatively good prices compared to the big name pizza places, so it’s more than a good alternative.

My family ordered delivery from here on Sunday. I used the online ordering which was really easy and takes out a little of the margin for error like when you order over the phone. The order was supposed to be delivered in 40 minutes but was there in about 30. The delivery driver parked in front of my house and instead of cutting through the grass like other delivery drivers have, he walked the extra few steps to walk up the driveway. I appreciated that. We had pizza and wings. Both were very good. Nothing special about either one of them but better than the usual chains. I like that they kept the sauce separate from the wings so they did not get so soggy. The wings are lightly breaded and have a good flavor, even without the sauce. We will definitely continue to order our pizza delivery from this location.

Driver «drove to 3 gas stations» for the drinks but still brought the wrong ones. (?) So guess 1.5 hours for delivery is understandable. Pizza is so bad. Cold, of course. Soggy crust despite being burnt and tastes like they used Prego sauce. Was so looking forward to delicious pizza after a long hard week.
$ 40 badly spent.

When I want pizza, I usually order from Paisanos. I don’t care for really thick oily crust and tend to enjoy the NY thin crust style more. Paisanos is pretty quick to deliver a tasty pie, whether it be the normal red sauce with my favorite, onion and sausage… or the garlic lovers white pizza that will keep the vampires away for a week.
The gyro salad (sans the olives and banana peppers) is one of my favorite things to order. They serve it with taziki and their house made creamy Italian dressing. (The Italian dressing here is unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere, it’s amazing.)
The subs here are pretty solid, the steak and cheese is far from Philly but it’s better than most of the options around here.
They offer super quick delivery and there are multiple locations around NoVa so you’re bound to be in the delivery area of one of them!

This particular Paisanos gets a five star because it is indeed as good as it gets. My mother and i stopped in one day and we got a tuna sub and a pizza! The tuna sub was good (I like Mamma Mia better), but the pizza, oh my goodness!!! It was absolutely, hands down the BEST pizza I have had in NoVA!
The ingredients were fresh, the service was hospitable and we really didn’t wan tot stop eating. We got the Big Piasano’s and now that they are open in Woodbridge, I am so excited about future delivery.

While their delivery is faster than expected (or it could just be that I work directly across from them), be prepared to have your order messed up. The past 3 times they’ve either given me something incorrect or forgotten part of my order altogether: last time, they gave me a coke instead of coke zero (the delivery guy offered to go back and get the correct drink, but I wasn’t going to have him make the trip), and this time my salad was missing dressing.
In addition, the description on the online menu is not always what you get – the tuna salad says that their «new recipe» has prosciutto in it, but the past 2 times I’ve ordered it I’ve yet to see any.
