Preta’s Cakes

I just took a bite of heaven from Preta’s Cakes. This chocolate brownie is gigantic and so moist and so chewy. It’s perfect. I can’t wait to dig into my other yummy treats chocolate cake and one other yummie delight. The price is right. The taste of the treats prepared are second to none. And let me tell you about the cakes simply by saying. Order one.

The outside does not do justice to the deliciousness located inside. Preta’s baking talents are second to none. There is a variety of both Spanish (i.e flan, tres leches cake) and more traditional (i.e. cupcakes, banana pudding, etc) desserts, breads, pastries. The prices are great. The best thing about the place is the personal touch. I have a gluten allergy and Preta took the time to prepare a special (delicious) pastry (Rosca — made out of Yuca) right on the spot for me. They provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, greeting you when you enter, and taking the time to answer your questions about the pastries.
