It’s a clean office with a very clean facility. Dr. Rao does a great job of taking you in emergencies without a preset appointment. Cleanings feel great afterwards. Helpful hints about your teeth I received: brush after lunch, chew sugar free gum, and use glide floss.

Went for a year and had a lot of work done. Found out she charges $ 20 if you need your records. Also, she is out the country on week 3 so what choice do you have besides her choice of a replacement? I found out she does not have digital xrays and Panarams are not digital and cannot be emailed at other offices so I was sad. My margins are my crowns had steps that were skipped. It was sad to learn all of this the hard way. I appreciate her seeing me but she adds $ 12 fee to each of your appointments as a secret administration charge. So to get your nightguard is $ 12. You already paid like $ 450 to 500 for it to be made to fit you. Since you get no paperwork, without begging for it, you cannot find out what you had done, what it cost for your taxes later, and your records you pay $ 20 for do not show anyone else like another dentist, what work she did. Bummer big time for me and my friend. We had to leave.

We tried the practice for an emergency filling that needed to be done before traveling out of the country for 2 months. Everyone else required an appointment but Dr. Rao agreed to fit us into her schedule. Since then we have been loyal clients. The atmosphere of the office is laid back and friendly yet professional, that is, except for the receptionists(explained further below). The dental hyegenists are outstanding, very warm and caring, and have yet to make my gums bleed, which what usually happened to me at other places. Dr. Rao is very experienced, always laying out your options so you can choose how to proceed, and actually paying attention to what you’re saying unlike many other places where you have to repeat yourself every time you come in because they forget. She also does a part of the cleaning herself, while most dentists delegate it to dental hyegenists that causes sometimes disastrous results like damaged tooth enamel on two of my husband’s teeth after the hyeginist’s hand«slipped» several times while operating a sharp instrument. This place, however, is outstanding, and being a big baby I am, I barely experience any unpleasant sensations during the procedures, and the cleaning actually feels good days after rather than leaving me with sore mouth and gums, which what used to happen with me at other places. The receptionists could definitely do a better job, hence a four star rating. Actually, they appear to be a huge drawback for the practice and I hope Dr. Rao would see that someday. They never welcome you with a smile like they do at all other places, and rarely say«please» or «thank you.» I often feel like I interrupted something important they were doing and they’re irritated with me for taking their time. Okay, this is one of the two things I don’t like about the office. The second thing I don’t like about the place is that Dr. Rao can be at times very pushy about selling you expensive corrective dental products like Invisalign, even if you clearly have said you’re not interested or you cannot afford it right now. On the one hand I know she has to do it, but on the other hand, it makes me feel uncomfortable. All in all, even considering the drawbacks listed the practice is a hidden gem if you’re looking for a family-friendly place to take care of your dental needs.
