Cost is about the same as Amazon on Lego items I looked at. Apparently, per cashier they match cost if I can show proof of lower cost elsewhere. Everything is organized nicely enough. I can easily see what I want to skip and what to further explore. Getting to checkout is a chore and checkout itself requires patience. Overall its nice every couple years to stroll through and shop. Mostly, I’ve seen it all here before. Nothing new to wow me.

Seriously need better customer service. You can never get assistance when you need it. Not enough cashiers. I have nothing good to say sadly

Toy’s R Us continues to be the best place to get toys for kids. This store is okay, but it only gets three stars for a couple of reasons. The first reason is the poor labeling of prices for the items they sell. My previous visits have resulted in frustration because something wasn’t labeled or it was misplaced. I realize that sometimes this is the result of kids picking something up and moving it elsewhere. Thank goodness for price scanners, however I wish they would have more of them throughout the store. Sometimes locating one can be tricky. Maybe better signage would help. The other issue I have is that as a result of their no firearms policy, the place is a victim zone. I also find this hypocritical when they sell lots of toys that involve firearms, whether it’s water guns or soldier toys. They should seriously reconsider this policy. Otherwise this store suits my needs. The staff is friendly and the store is decently organized. Also it’s generally a clean store to visit. *This business is NOT gun carry friendly.

If you’re looking for a perfect toy for a certain age group, I recommend this store. The store sits in a plaza with a very large parking lot that is shared with other establishments. You go in and are immediately forced into a maze that directs where you walk. I was asked if I was finding everything okay and took that opportunity to ask for the age group that I was shopping for. It was an easy purchase, but so many items to choose from. I would hate to bring my kid here as I would never get them out of the store and to prove it, I heard the familiar child wailing while there followed by the parents telling them that they would be back. They have a rewards program here that counts for Babies R Us which comes in handy. To check out, it’s hard to find the exit and you have to bump into dead end walls before finding the maze to walk out. Perhaps its their anti-theft tactic, but anyone that is trying to get that last minute gift and get going will be annoyed.

I went here looking for the Trivial Pursuit board game. Easy enough, right? Not! A store this size and no Trivial Pursuit and you can’t even order it!

If you want great customer service, and friendly staff, go to this Toys R Us and ask for Matt Snipes. His friendliness is second to none and is always helpful whenever I go in to purchase toys for my younger family members.

I’m concerned with how this store is run. I drove all the way from the Sterling, VA location because I was told that their computer showed eight items in stock of what I was looking for. After not finding them on the shelves, I asked an employee who confirmed that the eight items in question were indeed in their computer as being on the floor. After almost thirty minutes of searching the store and the back it was deemed the items were«missing». This concerns me because it means that they either have employees stealing from them, or are a little unorganized if they are losing merchandise. To make matters worse,(much like the Fairfax, VA location) they also charge more for their items than the store in Sterling VA(and online at their own website). For examples; Halo 4 Figures Sterling Location — $ 14.99 Manassas Location — $ 17.99 Borderlands Figures Sterling Location — $ 15.99 Manassas Location — $ 18.99 What saves this particular location from getting a one star review from me is that the employees were very eager to help, and while they weren’t able to, were determined to find the missing box of toys. I had not one employee looking, but three. Though the third admitted he was looking for personal reasons as he too was interested in the particular items I was looking for. All and all though the Manassas store turned into a lesson in wasted gas and time. Despite what those computers say, if you’re traveling from one town to the next, it’s worth the time to call first just to confirm that what you’re looking for is there.

Toys R Us is Toy R Us .I have found them to all be pretty similar. One thing I will say is that though at times it is hard to find someone to help you with questions, most times once you do they are super helpful. They have always done everything they could to help me locate an item or price. Even by phone they have been they take the time to help you explore all of your options.

I’ve not been in a Toys R Us in well over 10 years or more. We used to go to the one located off of U.S. 29 in Fairfax City — but it closed a long time ago — replaced by a Havertys Furniture Store(I think). Ventured over to the Toys R Us in Manassas a couple of weeks ago to check out the board game selection, but did not buy anything. After looking around, I wanted to check out the board game shopping options online. In the end, I went back last Monday evening and bought a few board games: Monopoly, Life, and Yahtzee. I was also looking for the classic Stratego(all they had was a weird Dungeons & Dragons style of Stratego), the Scrabble Premier Wood Edition, and the classic version of Clue. They did not have the versions I wanted of these games. Overall they have a pretty good selection of board games. It amazes me how many customizations exist of some of these game — there must have been a Star Wars version of almost every classic board game. Planning to go back and at least pick up Sorry, Parcheesi, and some jigsaw puzzles.
