Love this place! Been going here for 26 years. Family owned and operated. Treat everyone like family, the food is outstanding!

I have been here a few times for breakfast as its very close to where I just moved. The place has a cool history as its been around a long time, which is unusual now a days. They have a huge selection and the service has always been very attentive. However, the food is just average. Most of the reviews are wonderful, but for my taste its just ok. I got the Hungry Man breakfast which was huge. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the home fires are good but the sausage gravy is very bland. I really want to love it, but it just needs more flavor. It’s a lot of bang for your $$ and to even sweeten the deal more, they almost always have a Specialious deal.

Yorkshire is my family’s favorite restaurant. We eat here every weekend and are always satisfied with the delicious, home-cooked food. The staff are super friendly and helpful and make sure you always have a hot cup of coffee in front of you! Lunch is great but this is THE place for a hearty breakfast– if you haven’t checked them out, you need to ASAP! If the line is out the door, just wait– it’s worth it!

Went here for a breakfast. Food was okay, but I was not impressed with the interiors of the place.

Very good food! I had the hotcake combination and it was excellent! More than enough food to fill me up and that’s pretty hard to do.

Classic hometown american food! I went here on Sunday morning for breakfast. I got a simple yet classic american breakfast dish: scrambled eggs, hash-browns and toast. My morning hunger was fully satisfied. They made you feel right at home. Coffee refills flow to your heart’s desire. If you like country style breakfast this is your spot in Manassas.

I love this place… very casual and homey. When we don’t want a chain restaurant like IHOP or Denny’s we opt for Yorkshire. Like the fried chicken and the patty melt.

I was looking for a good casual brunch place on a Sunday morning. Somewhere I can go in sweats and no make up… I found just the place! The country chicken biscuits and gravy are amazing!!! The ribeye breakfast is juicy and yummy too! They know how to make the eggs just right(I ordered them over medium). Food was so good that I forgot to take pics until I was almost done with my meal :( You can’t beat the price either! For 5 of us, our bill came out to $ 57(excluding tip). The décor is pretty run down — a very old diner feel, but I’m fine with that as long as the food lives up to my expectation, which it definitely did! The service was surprisingly amazing too. The waitress checked in on us 3 or 4 times during the meal to make sure we didn’t need anything else. She spoke in a light southern accent, which contributed to the charm of this old diner.

Wow! The breakfast here beat me! I’ve never been beaten by breakfast! The country fried steak and eggs is one of the best I’ve ever had. The home fries are top notch. I don’t care if you’re 100 miles out of your way for this place, you won’t regret it. I had the CF steak and eggs. It comes with eggs, home fries, and a biscuit. The pictures posted do not do the size of the portion justice. It’s HUGE! Seriously, if you have coronary heart disease, drive on by because this is one big old plate of carb goodness! It’s not about health food, it’s about delicious fat-filled Heaven on your plate! I could not finish my breakfast. That’s never happened to me before unless I was ill. The plate won! If I could give this place 30 stars I would. It’s a greasy spoon and it’s FANTASTIC! The staff was awesome and the food was out of this world! I’m going to be a regular here!

Just came back from Europe looking for a piece of breakfast Americana. This place delivered. Great customer service from my waitress Linda when I was there on Saturday. Delicious biscuits, quality coffee with free refills, and solid country fried steak. Bonus points for poaching my eggs. Love the speedy service.

My husband had raved about brunches at this place for ages, so when we finally got a chance to go I was sure it would be a letdown after so much hype. Nope! It was all that and then some! The food was AWESOME: fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I had a bacon omelette with a biscuit and home-fries…The serving staff were not only courteous and accommodating, they went out of their way to be nice to my two year old who was having a tantrum. Thanks to the laid back atmosphere, my son quickly got over his mood and we all enjoyed our meal tremendously. We will definitely be back. :-)

Been here many times since then and still great, however this time I have to drop a star because on my coffee dish was a «roach leg» or some type of bug leg. I quietly showed the cashier and he wiped it off and moved on. WTF! Maybe apologize for the embarrassment! The food was still good and service always great, and that won’t stop me from coming here. That made my stomache queezy. SMH

Awesome breakfast joint! I know the fun part of enjoying a dining experience is to have variety every time you visit your favorite restaurant but I cannot for the life of me ever stray from my favorite every time I come to Yorkshire! Chicken Fried Chicken… Sausage Gravy… Home Fries… Toast with Strawberry Jam… So good!

What in the Sam Hill? I almost fired my employees in Manassas for not telling me about this place! Simply put: Manly, Womanly, Whateverly, American Breakfast NIRVANA. These folks ain’t playin’ ya’ll!(I said«ya’ll» and was born and raised in NJ. Poser level = MASTER) They simply just GETIT. For one, the service I experienced was INCREDIBLE. Why would you go to a chain with International, Waffles, or Cracker in their titles when this place is around? When great attitude servers come around and are willing to top off your cup of really great joe, like 8 times and it’s fresh each time… you’ve reached beyond the movie«Elf» and their«Best coffee» status. On point coffee + on point service = Happy early AM guest. Great omelette. This is how I judge. Can you put God’s gift to us of many,(Eggs), together, properly stuffed with WHATEVER the heck you want? YES… you can. Thank you! Scrapple on the menu AND properly executed.(Seared-to a sinful crust on the outside). YES. Thank you. You respect pigs because your bacon that I had as a side with my omelette and scrapple was obviously NOT run-of-the-mill. Scrapple is an under appreciated art of NOT throwing away anything about the beast that is the pig. I LOVE this joint for all the above reasons but not more than because work beckoned for a conference call that went long, and so as not to be rude, I vacated table,(as ALLYOURARSES should!), and went to their foyer to take the call. The very sweet server came to check on me not less than 4 times and although the call was only 18 minutes, she offered to warm-up my breakfast. Very well done people. Nice execution, customer service, quality, and integrity.

This place is kind of hidden in a corner in Manassas, but it’s a nice cute place to eat. The vibe here is extremely friendly and family-like. You can tell that majority of the customers are regulars. Excellent service, fresh food, and great prices.

Sorry folks, I wasn’t all that impressed. I went here because I didn’t have a table and was trying to keep it local by eating breakfast somewhere nearby in case it arrived early. So I looked for breakfast reviews. This one came up, so I tried it. I ordered the pancake breakfast. Came with two eggs and a meat. Oh, also ordered an apple juice and hash browns with a water. Pancakes were not bad, but the canadian bacon(the meat) was very dry. Not very good at all. The eggs were fairly runny, and the hash browns were either bland or way too salty. I couldn’t tell. Oh, and the apple juice was too small. I don’t think I will return here, despite the friendly wait staff. The food is just okay, but I’ll have to try the other diner restaurants in the area before making a firm decision on whether to try it again or not.

Service with a smile! The Yorkshire Restaurant has more than just food to offer you. The service to here is phenomenal! Due to another Unilocal review and friend and I checked out this place for a classic diner breakfast/brunch and it did not disappoint. Your experience at Yorkshire will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before. Go ahead, you know you want to come here to see what I am talking about. Bottom line: unique, delicious and affordable

Awesome breakfast. Have been here twice since just recently moving to the area and will definitely continue to come here. First time and we were pleasently surprised. Got the biscuits and sausage gravy, and the pancakes combo breakfast. Everything was soooo good. The second time we came we knew they did things right, got the belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. Was so good you didnt even need syrup. Light fluffy and just mmmm. The second time we came my boyfriend got the chipped beef gravy and while it was good, not as good as the sausage gravy the time before. The service has been attentive and friendly each time and the prices are great for what you get. While im not against trying other food there, i dont know if i could stray away from the breakfast options because they are just so damn good. Definitely my new favorite breakfast place around the area.

Yep, I’m giving a low review and I am sad to say it really wasn’t as good as everyone is stating. First we waited about 10 minutes after we got our drinks for an actual waitress to grab our orders. While I watched people who got seated after us got to put their order in with waiters and how I know is their food came out way before us. Finally, after 10 minutes our waitress came and she had a big attitude as my dad said«Hi, how are you», she just flipped her notepad and said«what do you want to order». I mean really, no hello or anything. So that was already a big no. My dad ordered the hungry man which was a huge portion of sausage gravy and biscuits. He enjoyed it. I got the country fried steak and I did not enjoy it at all. it just had a funky taste to it with and without the gravy on top. Could it have been the oil? It tasted old and gross. I left ¾ of it on the table. At least the potatoes were good. Thats the only thing I enjoyed. and the hot chocolate but you can’t mess up hot coco. Once again, the waitress was no where to be found when we needed refills. I might try it again for breakfast but sucks that this was how my first experience was.
