The location so close to my home originally drew me here. I have returned every two weeks for three months now so I feel comfortable stating that the quality of work is consistently good. I like being able to count on receiving good service every time.
Mimi has done my manicure multiple times and it always looks great. David does a great pedicure and has also done my manicure a few times. They are both very conscientious about their work and I appreciate it. My nails always get complimented now.
They have matching color sets for those of us who want the same color on our fingers and toes, but want shellac on our fingernails. I have not seen this at other nail salons and love this option.
Mimi and David are the nicest people, too. I really enjoy my relaxing, pleasant visits to 1626 Nails & Spa.

I love to get my nails done but hate the chemical smell. I ran into a little gem today in South Austin. MiMi introduced me to SNS nails. Leave that smelly liquid alone! My nails look flawless and my fingers feel beautiful again! David did a wonderful job on my pedicure. It had been awhile since I had gotten one and I was pretty embarrassed about my dry cracked heels. David made me feel at ease and worked wonders on my feet and toes! 1626 Nails & Spa is my new «go to!»

This is such a nice nail salon. I was impressed with how clean and friendly this place is. Mimi and David are very professional and do an amazing job. I was amazed by how long my pedicure and manicure lasted. I highly recommend this place:)

Tried this hidden gem today! Mimi is fantastic! She takes her time and leaves you with a great pedicure, and very relaxing experience. She has created a great ambience, … peaceful and calming.

I visited 1626 Nails after having a terrible experience at my regular south Austin salon. I am so happy I tried it out. The location doesn’t scream «awesome» as it’s in a small strip center with a gas station. However the inside is super clean and inviting.
The man who did my mani pedi was friendly and did a great job. The pricing was reasonable, with a big menu of options. Also a plus, both people I interacted with spoke and understood English. 1626 is a small salon with, as far as I can tell, only two employees. While I was there, one customer was asked to return in an hour because both manicurists were busy. This means it’s best to call ahead to avoid waiting.

Went in to get a deluxe pedicure along my husband. Very detail oriented, nice atmosphere, very quiet which is what I like. It didn’t smell like a nail salon which was an added perk because sometimes the fumes make me feel sick. It’s a husband/​wife team and The husband did my nails and did a very good job. I mentioned to Mimi that my husband has been having a really bad headache and so she spent extra time on his massage. Their English is totally understandable and they are extremely warm and welcoming. It’s nice to support local business and we will definitely come back. :)

My first time here & I loved it. Mimi pampered me and my pedicure looks fabulous! Tell all of your friends and send them to Mimi. It is so convenient at Bliss Spillar and FM 1626. Same parking lot as the Sac n Pac.

Mimi the owner is so sweet! She provided a great service and even gave me Vietnamese coffee and a croissant — delicious! The environment is very relaxing and everything in the spa is brand new. The person Kerry was talking about no longer works there. Pay Mimi a visit, you won’t be disappointed!

What a great place for a manicure! Mimi is wonderful and made my bad feet look and feel awesome. Very relaxing atmosphere and everything seems to be brand new and very clean. Definitely recommend!!!
