90’s Nails & Spa

I have been getting my nails done here for quite a while. I always have someone different because I like the flexibility of walking in. I always walk out pleased with my nails. I get a gel fill with gel nail polish, they last up to 5 weeks before I need to go back. It’s $ 38, so it’s well worth it for the amount of time I wait between fills.

The woman who did my nails seemed to rush through the process. I got gel nail tips. They’re lumpy and the french tip on my right thumb nail is kind of sloppy. The imperfections are not completely noticable though.

We this was my last attempt at this salon in a good size mall.
Incurred horrific nail infection from this salon from a nail tech by the name of Helen, who not only had a terrible attitude, but was rough in handling my hands and didn’t use sanitary tools nor a sanitary dish for nail soaking.

This is the BEST nail salon! My nails last for 3+ weeks. Before coming here, I was lucky if they stayed on for 2 weeks. This saves me time and money. Staff is friendly and they work quickly. I won’t be going anywhere else to get my nails done.

This place is convenient and very quick, but certainly not the place to go if you are looking to be pampered. My nail tech blatantly played candy crush on her phone between coats of polish and barely said three words to me. While doing my cuticles she got into conversation with a co-​worker and because she wasn’t paying attention, the cuticle tool just migrated all over my fingers rather than actually performing its intended purpose. Nevertheless, on she moved. She also stopped with nail paint brush hovering over my finger mid-​coat to turn 180 degrees and watch the news for a few minutes.
Despite my nail tech’s obvious boredom, my polish change and gel manicure was done in roughly 20 minutes – pretty speedy! However, she didn’t make an effort to apply the polish down to my cuticle, so it looks as if my nails have started growing out already, even though I left the salon mere hours ago.
The prices here are marginally higher than the surrounding area, probably due to its location in the mall. If you’re looking for quick and no-​frills, this is a good spot. If you’re looking for more reasonable prices, friendly/​attentive service, and a nice shoulder massage or hot wax hand treatment along with your manicure, look elsewhere.

I brought my daughters here the other day for a Christmas manicure. They both had their nails done — including an accent nail — for $ 7 (each) and were as happy as could be. I was happy that it didn’t cost a fortune to have little girls’ nails done. I would definitely bring them back here.

I have to say, I have no complaints. I go every once in a while and get a basic manicure. Lately I have been springing for the gel polish. It costs a little more but it’s so worth it. I am not a girly girl, even though I like having my nails done. I am always hiking in the woods, I’m not careful with my nails when I wash dishes or clean the house… if this gives you a clue, I am the one my coworkers come to find when there is a big bug in the building that needs to be moved outside because I’m not afraid of it. ;) Therefore, I am the girl who will ruin my manicure after 15 minutes by scraping my hand against something when I’m not paying attention, but the gel polish LASTS.
Everyone I have met at this place has been very friendly and sweet. No complaints about the staff. I’m sorry to read about others’ bad experiences there. So far, I’m a loyal client.

A little pricey IMO-​I got a full set pink and white, pedicure and an eyebrow wax-​it was $ 112 without tip! I will NOT be going back there, mainly for the price, the technician was a little rough at times, one of my nails did not match the other. Just my opinion :)
