Closed early in Free Comic Book day, and rude to young children. Shame on you. Very disappointed that he store would not operate normal business hours on a celebration and promotion day for the Comic Book industry. This is poor management and a clear indication that customers do not matter. Children are being turned away at the door as I write this… Wouldn’t it make sense from a business perspective to be open during regular business hours on a day you are provided free merchandise by your suppliers? I will never be back and purchase graphic novels monthly, I guess Amazon will do.

Great store. They have plenty of deals and are always helpful. The staff are true comic lovers and you can tell. Whether you’re looking for something new to read or trying to find an issue for your collection, this is the place to check.

Great place for comic books. Tons of independent titles and great selection of new and old books. Been coming here for years and I have no complaints.

A Heros Legacy is one of the best business’ I’ve ever dealt with. Trades, store credits, buying, selling, they’re always willing to work with me as long as it’s within reason. I took a 25 year hiatus from collecting comics, and now at the age of 32 I can’t stop shopping there. Super relaxed atmosphere and unlike most small business’ they don’t sit there staring making sure your not stealing. Unfortunately there are many small business’ in CT that focus only on shoplifters and not at all on customer service. Where other store managers will patronize you while you express your interests, A Heros Legacy takes a genuine interest in what you’re saying because they know it’s important to you. That being said, they have an amazing selection of old and new comics, action figures, t-shirts, etc, and their flash sales are OTW, Out of This World. O.T.dubs!

Unfortunately, I am a late bloomer when it comes to comics. I have always had a pilot light for comics but it took me meeting my husband to turn my oven to full broil. A Hero’s legacy has made it very easy for me to get into many different comics. I found the staff to be very warm and welcoming and beyond helpful. I love their suggestions on comics, most recently The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl(It’s nutty!). I highly recommend this store for the comic newb as well as the seasoned comic book aficionado. Check out their variety of graphic novels, single issues, and collectables, it’s sure to please.

I haven’t been into comics in years but my interest has been reignited recently. I went to buried under comics years ago. Very different feel now. The clerk was engaged in a long discussion and barely acknowledged me. I felt awkward interrupting and left without finding what I came in looking for. I had hope this place would be like city comics in NYC, it’s not. Customer service is bad here. It’s Amazon for me… Sadly.

A top notch comic store. They have a ton of comics from smaller publishers as well as DC and Marvel. Park on the side street if the few spaces in front are taken.
