This is probably one of my favorite restaurants. The service is always friendly and the meals are amazing. The Butternut Squash Bisque and The Bonnaroo Wrap are two of my favorite options. The homemade potato chips are a great choice, too!

Have been in town the past week shooting Bonnaroo and this spot has been the been the best part of our trip, no joke. Excellent service, excellent food, wonderful human beings. Biscuits and gravy were great my first time in, had a quick order of bacon and eggs second visit, country fried steak and eggs most recently. Delicious all around.

We made a pit stop on our drive from Nashville to Sewanee, and we picked Coffee Café because it was close to the highway and we didn’t want to detour too much.
It was around 2pm on a Saturday and they weren’t busy at all. We got seated right away at a table in their patio, which is basically a room with three walls and one open side that lets in the breeze. I’d highly recommend sitting out here; they have comfortable rocking chairs and a fireplace.
The service was quick and very hospitable. The food was also just what we needed after a two-​hour flight into Tennessee. I had the turkey wrap without bacon, with a side of potato salad. Their potato salad was fantastic! Though I asked for a wrap they brought out a turkey sandwich. I didn’t mind at all– the bread was buttery and delicious, my boyfriend even took several votes of just the bread.
This place deserves more marketing because it gives you a calming and idyllic experience outside of Nashville.

Been trying lots of restaurants since moving here from CA 8 months ago. Hit the jackpot with this one!!! Service was A+! Friendly, helpful waitress, made us feel so welcome!
My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak with fries and I ordered the Bonaroo wrap (chicken, mango salsa, spinach, provolone, honey mustard in a spinach tortilla) with sweet potato fries. For dessert, we split a slice of the lemon cake (can’t remember what it is called). Our waitress recommended it & it was probably the best lemon cake I have ever had. Awesome lunch! Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Discovered this place on nearby Unilocal search. Only 3 miles from I-​24. Open daily 10 to 2 except for Monday. Extensive menu for brunch, featuring lots of home made eclectic items. Ambience perfect. Suitable for families, casual diners, couples. Service and music wonderful. The owner seated us, Paula our waitress was great. Definitely try the soups. Tomato & Basil, Beef & Cabbage not to be missed. I highly recommend the White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle coffee. Our entrees were the Bonnaroo Wrap, Chicken Avocado Hot Sandwich. Each were spectacular. Everything served quick, fresh and hot. Finished with Lemon Cello cake for dessert. Can’t say enough good things about this place. I would make another stop in Manchester just to dine here.

This would be 5 stars if the Coffee Café offered an earlier breakfast even a couple of days per week. C’mon Geoff and Lisa… and, we would drive from Tullahoma. Say, 8 a.m. start Tues and Thursday or Friday?! My wife and I really enjoy the food/​menu and ambiance… retro, space and quiet jazz in the background. No competing with loud voices and over loud music. Thank god, finally a restaurant that shows good sense. If you can’t find it… build it. The only issue… limited hours. Still, worth the 12 mile drive from where we live. Keep it up. A welcome break from chain restaurants and cookie cutter food and décor.

This is a wonderful, popular place in the heart of the old part of Manchester. We come here for breakfast/​lunch every day we are in Manchester for Bonnaroo. The food is standard fare, no standouts, but way better than anything else we found and they have vegetarian options. Nice people run the place. Last time we were there they ran out of food — that’s how popular it is but its big and there has always been room. Strongly recommended

Incredible food & great service! They offer a broad menu and homemade desserts. I had the chicken salad, my husband had a burger. We all ate chocolate pie. We cannot wait to go back!

I was just passing through town and found this place on Unilocal.So happy I stopped in best lunch in a really long time. Smoked turkey club and café salad excellent! I will definitely make it a point to be back here!

Great breakfast food, great service!!! We had the Patchwork Quilt and Taste of the Town. Wonderful! They also have great gourmet coffee. Open from 10 – 2 daily and Fridays for dinner. Must visit down home cooking!

First visit here in Manchester. The staff is nice and friendly, a at home feel. The food was best had in weeks. Waffle House and IHOP does not have nothing on this place. If you are looking for a good meal, this is place to visit.

I love the coffee café! The staff is very sweet and friendly. I love the chocolate cake and the BLT wrap. Definitely get the potato salad! Geoff is the best and a super helpful guy in many ways. I will definitely be frequenting this establishment from now on. Love it!!!

I’ve eaten at the coffee café twice recently and have been pleased both times. I had a steak, potatoes, and salad the first time and found the steak to be a quality cut and the salad to be very fresh.
The second time I had the pork tips and they were tasty too.
The two outer rooms have a nice ambiance and the owners and service staff are top notch.
I can easily recommend coffee café as a cool place to meet for dinner.
