Food was okay. The only thing I didn’t like was they don’t accept plastic. That’s why I will not be going to this place anymore. I never carry cash.

While Ian’s review is dead on, I love this diner so much that I feel obligated to write one of my own. The key to Cote’s(and any good diner) is simplicity. The layout is simple; the menu is simple; the food is simple. Yes, you could probably make everything they have in your own kitchen, but the food is incredibly cheap(as it should be — we’re talking eggs, bacon, and pancakes here!), and the service has always been good to excellent. It’s perfect for a cold, lazy, Sunday morning. A couple notes — 1) Bring cash! No credit cards accepted(as of mid 2010) 2) There’s a very small lot(4 – 5 cars) right behind the diner, but you’ll probably have to use street parking on Laurier St.(the right fork where Mast Rd. and Kelley St. intersect)

What a wonderful diner! Great prices! The raisin bread is the best in town!!! Very personable and great service… Would come back for sure for their breakfast!!!
