The tzatzaki sauce tasted like sour cream. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and very brown! The loukoumades were burnt!!! The bathroom toilet wasn’t clean! No ice in house! The server was extremely nice on a positive note!!!

I’ll go back. It wasn’t the best Greek food I’ve had in the Manchester area(I give a nod to Amphora in Derry) but it was good and a good value. I had the chicken which was stuffed with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and onions(a bit heavy on the onions — though I do like onions). I’d prefer when the pita is grilled, but even this non-grilled pita had good texture and taste. I am not a fan of them putting french fries on the gyro — should be on the side. Our Greek salad was excellent with a generous portion of olives. And I’m not familiar enough with baklava to be much of a critic, but this one was sweeter than I expected(but I finished it all!).

Awesome staff, they are so kind and the food is great. My boyfriend took me there for the first time because he kept raving about it(I’ve never had a gyro before). The flavors blend so well together and the woman who made ours gladly gave us extra gyro sauce to dip our onion rings in. I will definitely return!

The food was delivered in a very prompt fashion. The meal was delicious, the vegetable selection they used to make the salad for was very fresh, the pork cuts for the gyro were really tasty, and the pita bread had the taste of this pork cut. Finally, their homemade fries were delicious. Overall 5 star for the food, 5 star for delivery, and not so expensive dinner for a very filling meal.

Clean place with friendly stuff. Both chicken and pork gyros are authentic Greek, and not the«American-Greek minced meat version». Pitogyra(gyro-pies) are pretty big, so 1 should be enough for a regular person. I do recommend it!

Don’t pass up this place because of prior businesses. Very clean and a breath of fresh air. I got a veggie gyro and was very satisfied. Went in late and the worker threw in some free spinach pita. That was good as well. I will be back to try more

I was impressed when walking into the restaurant given the remodeling they did to the space. It’s nicely done and very open. They had a good amount of people dining in, as well as those picking up take out orders. I called in my order after checking out their website. My order was ready right when promised. I’m assuming the lady that helped me is an owner. She was really nice. When I got to my car, I realized my order seemed smaller than it should be. My salad was missing. I ran back in to get it. No big deal. I ordered the saganaki and moussaka dinner. The saganaki is fantastic! It comes with grilled pita bread. I was so happy to find a great order of it in this area. I was also pleased that even though it was a taje out order, they still give me a big lemon wedge with it. I will definitely order it at every future visit. I also ordered the moussaka dinner. It came with a garden salad(I was a little disappointed there was no feta cheese in it at all not even a tiny amount) and garlic bread. The moussaka was amazing! My only concern is I wish I got more of it. It’s a smaller portion than other Greek restaurants serve but boy was it delicious! The salad was a basic salad. They gave me Italian dressing when I asked for Greek. No biggie. The garlic bread was great as well. I look forward to returning many more times in the future to try more items. 4.5 stars.

Gyroscope is now open in the former Golden Chicken space next door to DW Diner II at the 5 way intersection of S Main/Boynton/Woodbury Streets. This space has been the home to several different Asian eateries in recent years, which came and went. This is the first non-Asian type restaurant to occupy this space, which serves up mostly Greek American cuisine. This space was renovated with stone tile faced walls on each side and dark brown finish trim and dark finished wooden floors. Like before in this space, there several tables and booths and a takeout counter area in the back of the dining room, open kitchen area visible. Gyroscope serves up gyros, subs, salads, soups(chicken rice), specialty dinners(moussaka, pastitsio, steak tip, lamb kebob), pasta dinners, American & Greek appetizers & dips, and desserts(baklava, kantalfi, loukoumades, rice pudding). The prices here seem reasonable and dinners come with salad and garlic bread. I stopped in here this evening for dinner takeout. The place was quite busy with several customers dining in and plenty of takeout orders too! I decided to get takeout and ordered a Souvlaki Gyro($ 6.50) and a Moussaka Dinner($ 11.99). The lady running the register was new and was being guided by the owner. I took a seat in the dining room, while the food was being prepared. The owners’ kids were present and they seemed«very excited» about the new restaurant. The food was ready to go in about 10 minutes and I walked out of the restaurant with a bag of food, but the Greek salad was missing. I went back inside and I was given my side salad and house dressing cup with apologies. It’s their first day too. Anyways, I consumed the food when I got home. The Souvalaki Gyro was fantastic! This gyro had tender chewy pieces of grilled pork, onions, hand cut fries, tomatoes, creamy yogurt dressing in a grilled soft warm flatbread. The Moussaka was the right size piece which consisted of layers of potato, eggplant, ground beef, and bechemel, not greasy and on the dry side. The moussaka had savory and hearty flavors and some tomato sauce added on top could really enhance this dish. The side salad was fresh, which consisted of iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, shredded carrots, red onions, with an oil based house dressing in a side cup. The baked garlic bread(2 big pieces) were very buttery and crusty on the outside. Overall, I enjoyed my initial Greek meal at Gyroscope. The food was pretty good overall and the gyro was fantastic! The place just opened and there will be kinks which still need to be worked out with every new business. I will give this place 3.5 stars for now and I plan to return here again to try out the other menu items including some of the Italian pasta dinners, Greek appetizers(saganaki, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaves, fried eggplants) and the pastitsio too!
