I came here to do the required state emissions testing for my car, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was. I had called ahead for an appointment 20 min before arriving to make sure they had availability.
During my short wait in the lobby, I asked for the pricing of a fully synthetic oil change to the receptionist. One of the mechanics was standing nearby, overheard my question, and asked me some questions before providing me with a quote himself — a little over $ 70 including tax. I was impressed with his knowledge and the way he seemed eager to help.
He did provide some inaccurate info about Monro using recycled oil (they don’t) when I mentioned I was doing a price comparison. Unfortunately J&M doesn’t price match (Monro beats them out slightly at $ 55 since I use a coupon), but I’m always happy to support local small businesses, so I may be making an appointment here the next time I need work done on my car.
I would ask for any existing deals or coupons if you’re coming in for a service — they have a bunch laid out on the counter!

Fast, courteous service. Brought my car there for its emissions check and I was in and out. Doubt I even got through a couple of pages in book. Upbeat front desk as well so was very pleased.
