Over the past year, I’ve hopped around to a myriad of salons and barbershops throughout the greater-Manchester area. Every place offered something great, but didn’t provide the full package(e.g. good cuts but inconsistent staff, welcoming barbers but out-of-date/limited hairstyles, etc.). I’m happy to say that I’ve settled at La Coupe Barber Shop. It’s the closest place to perfect. La Coupe Barber Shop provides that cozy, traditional«barber-shop» atmosphere yet offers classic, current and contemporary haircuts. The shop is very clean and welcoming, and features nice amenities such as television, coffee, and water. Nancy, the stylist, is welcoming in a very down-to-earth manner. All haircuts come with a hot neck-shave and a vacuuming to remove that annoying loose hair. The pricing is extremely fair and even favors those who are looking for a simple buzz-cut. I highly recommend La Coupe Barber Shop and hope everyone enjoys Nancy’s service and accommodations.

I have been bringing my son here for a year and I have to say that I am totally pleased with each haircut he has received. I also love the atmosphere; there is a real sense of community there along with a tv to watch and coffee to drink. I highly recommend La Coupe!

I’ve been getting my haircut hear for over two years now and have always been pleased. Nancy, the owner and her nephew Justin, are great folks who have a slew of repeat customers. Depending on when you get there you may be waiting for a while. If you do have to wait, there is complimentary beverages, and huge LCDTV in the cozy waiting area. The cuts are quick, stylish, and done with accuracy. Nancy also vacuums the hair off you if you have to head back to work.

La Coupe has a nice environment. I prefer the feeling of a «barber shop» to that of a «salon». I was pleased with the atmosphere. Service was quick with even one barber on staff at the time(they were not busy enough to justify more). I was disappointed to see various badges and emblems displayed on the window of the shop in support of the police, but being physically adjacent to a closed police station might play a part in that. A display above the door of Stark’s quote — Live Free Or Die — did catch my notice and cause a smile. Haircut quality was average. Granted, it’s been a while since I’ve had a professional haircut, so I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted. The barber kept up friendly conversation even trying a third time to get me what I wanted. While the cut wasn’t all that great, his willingness to make it right was superb.
