I’ve stopped here for a number of years. Ambience is not special. This is an older property decorated to reflect the cuisine. And there is a touch of homage to the city’s heritage with a number of historical photos on one wall. Still, it is clean and furnishings are in good shape. Menu is as varied as one would expect. I like the Enchiladas Racheras. Also Chilequiles is a good choice. Portions are adequate and served promptly according to the number of customers at the time. Wait staff is pleasant and prompt. Management is visible, asking if all is OK. Good to see that. Time has allowed me to see a positive change in improved service. Bravo! No need to drive out of town. For Mexican food, Las Flores will do nicely.

Love! Moved out to the area from dubuque, where every mexican resteraunt seems generic and the service is only good if you are a regular customer :(This place is the complete opposite end of the spectrum! Service is always great and the food is awesome! I am a person where Mexican is really never my first choice but my husband on the other is down for a good carne asada any time of the day!!! Having said that, there have been very few Mexican places that have me wanting to come back for more, legitimately, like 1 and it’s in Washington state… until this place! Food is ridiculously delicious and the chips are the best I’ve ever had! Now when my husband suggests mexican, again this is quite frequently, I have no problem saying absolutely!

AUthentic Mexican food. My favorites are any of the fajitas. Some of the other menu items are rather bland. Chips are freshly baked and offered for free. Margaritas are a specialty.
