Manchester Parkade Health Shoppe

A little expensive but the thought of buying local is what brings me to parkade health shoppe. The owner is very knowledgeable as well as her staff.

This is one of the best health shoppes I’ve ever been too. Knowledgeable staff, great product selection and a feel-​good vibe! I wouldn’t hesitate to shop here.

I really like this store! Although I don’t shop here often, because it’s out of the way for me, I find that the staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. The prices seem to be less than at Whole Foods. I wish that there were a 2^nd location, in Vernon perhaps? (Hint. Hint).

This is the very first stop for health care everyone should make. Everything is top notch quality & the selection is huge! I always feel great knowing I am in the hands of their very knowledgeable staff. Whether it’s preventative, diet, health maintenance, special supplements or recovery, this establishment has what you need for any malady large or small.
Special Kudus to Erika Dworkin and her lovely pharmacologically brilliant father for their selfless dedication & expertise. Their proprietary blends are also uniquely helpful, tailored to your specific needs. The staff is quite helpful, so don’t hesitate to flag someone down and ask about what you are interested in. They will not push anything or try to upsell. There are also tons of delicious samples, food and otherwise.
…And Don’t forget, there’s a nice Unilocal discount when you check in. Score! What a hidden gem!

Love this store. They have the best selection of high quality vitamins and supplements in the area. For the level of quality, the prices are unbeatable. Better quality than Stop and Shop; cheaper than Whole Foods. They regularly offer 20% off for certain brands and doctor recommendations. For just $ 5 you can also purchase a «Green Card» which never expires and gives you 20% off all brand name vitamins and 5% off all food. They also have a great selection of health & beauty products, essential oils, herbs/​teas, and grocery food staples. The grocery food items are priced at a premium, but good deals and coupons can always be found in the monthly sale flyer.
The staff members are extremely helpful and approachable with any questions you may have. If they don’t have an answer, they’ll find someone who does or they’ll research it for you. Overall, staff are incredible, especially the tall older man who has been there for years. I don’t know what I’d do without this place!!!

I love this store. My fav health store thus far! I’ve always had a good experience at this store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I mostly always find what I’m looking for and the two times that I didn’t, they offered to order it, and let me know when it was in the store. I spend more time than I intend to because there’s new products so now I have to look at those… All in all great staff and great products! Definitely recommend it.

Wonderful place! Sandwiched in the Manchester Parkade, it doesn’t stick out much. But, like most hole-​in-​the-​wall places, their services are excellent. Their variety of natural products (beauty, health, supplements, etc.) is HUGE. Only place I could compare it to is Whole Foods, and I still think this shop’s selection is better. The staff are incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful. One gentleman in particular was very kind and helpful when I asked him if they carried a certain product to help with a specific condition. I especially love their selection of herbal teas. They carry brands and types that I have otherwise only been able to find online. I haven’t tried their food, but it looked great.

I’ve found so much in this store. I may not live close enough to this place anymore to enjoy it, but while I was there, I would find all the stuff I needed there along with workers who really know what they are talking about and then some.
Super friendly and frankly I’ve found that the prices on some of their items are reasonable, if not, cheaper than other places. You do get some items to be more expensive, but I found facial care items tend to be a little cheaper here than places such as Whole Foods.
Plus, free samples of things are always nice!

A quirky Manchester instiution. One of the few remaining old-​school, independent health food stores which were common before the days of Wild Oats and Whole Foods. There’s a ton of stuff here, both food and supplements which you will never see anywhere else, and they’re famously helpful with special orders.
The atmosphere, while secondary, is also fantastic. The store has always employed a host of interesting eccentrics, including at one point Wendy O Williams of the Plasmatics and at least one member of every local punk rock band.

This store is great. Small, independently owned. You can get everything from supplements, herbs, and homeopathic preparations to natural beauty products. There is even a sizable grocery section, books and natural pet supplies. The staff is knowledgeable and kind, there are always ads, business cards, free pamphlets and samples on your way out the door. I once snagged a 1oz Burt’s Bees Repair serum from the free-​stuff bin, which retails for $ 19 bucks usually. The only downside is that prices tend to be a little higher here than at Whole Foods or a GNC. But the warm fuzzy feeling you get from supporting a local business is priceless, and therefore doesn’t merit taking away any stars from this little gem.
