Microtel Inn & Suites Manchester

Booked on Hotwire. Based on other reviews kinda knew they would put us by elevators. 2 rooms right in front of elevator. Single queen rooms did not have micro or fridge. Pool was small but clean and staff made sure to come turn on lights for us. You can see mattress or pad thru the sheets. But seemed clean. Room was decorated nice but bedding seemed old. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Waffles and bagels. No hot food. For an overnight stay it was good. Would feel a bit small if you were staying long.

Located by tons of fast food — all walkable locations. There is also a gas station and liquor store in walking distance.

Gave 5 stars as was perfect for our need. Late, tired & needed to stop. Room very clean, bed exceptionally comfy, nice shower with good water pressure & accepted our pet for only $ 15 extra. Perfect traveler stop.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. The beds however were very hard and noisy. The worst part about this hotel is that there is absolutely no insulation in the walls. I could hear everything going on in the hallway, hear the doors slam, and my room was close to the breakfast nook I could hear everything going on there. Could hear everything going on above me too! I will not stay here again.

At first we thought this was going to be a fine stay for the night. Pretty reasonable rate but certainly not cheap. The room at first seemed fine, but upon further inspection it was less than acceptable. Stains on the floor, the bed skirt was filthy and the headboard had who knows what on it. This would have been tolerable as the sheets were clean but my wife woke up with a series of red welts on her legs and feet. To add insult to injury there was no coffee nor continental breakfast ready at 6:00. It wasn’t ready by 6:30 either. The guy behind the counter was too busy talking on the phone to get it going I guess. I won’t stay here again, I’ll be hard pressed to stay at a microtel again and they will receive a call from us.

Great value, clean and spacious room, courteous staff. Very pleased with our short stay.

This is my new favorite kind of hotel. Micro is exactly right — The room is super small, so the price isn’t very expensive. Great for passing through. Extremely clean and new!
The staff was also extremely friendly!
