Columbus day and our car was smoking up a storm from under the hood as we came down Mt. Equinox. We were scared… smelled horrible. My sis and I(from NY) called AAA and a wonderful man came down quickly. It was getting darker and we were so happy to see him. We pictured an expensive repair/cab ride to motel and back to garage and no dinner that night! Instead, he explained that many cars smoke from braking so much, looked under the hood and under car and said we were aok! He was right! ANHONEST Service professional THANKYOU!

Saturday afternoon to get tire fixed. Also asked to check air pressure of other tires. Place had one person working and no other customers, so he took it up right away. After a bit, more ppl came in and he ended up helping out w them and our car ended up taking over an hour. During which we sat on a couch eating their little chocolate delights. We wanted a receipt and it took him 15 more minutes to make one. He also didn’t tell the desk person he’d finished, which we found out after we’d asked Why it was taking so long. And he wasn’t particularly friendly.

I’ve been using Paul’s for all our automobile service for over 30 years(jeezum crow, are we really that old?!) My father used them for years before he went to his reward. Reliable and professional auto care people; reasonably priced. They have done my winter plowing for about the same number of years. I recommend them for that as well.

We slid off the road today, going about 100 feet into a ditch off Route 7. We had called to request a tow to Bennington, since the general impressiveness of the whole incident left us assuming the car wouldn’t be drivable. The guy that came(I should have gotten his name – sorry able guy with beard) winched us out; it was a bit of a job because we had slid so far. He could have made a killing by then taking the car to Bennington, but he told us the car didn’t seem too damaged, and we ended up driving away. He said our insurance covered $ 50, charged us $ 75 beyond that(which seemed reasonable to me), and we were on our way.

Paul’s towing and auto repair was able to save me on a trip home from New Hampshire. I got a flat tire, flagged down Paul’s truck, got a tow and a ride to a Motel up the road from his business(the Mechanics were already off for the night). I spent the night, arrived at the garage early in the morning and was out the door by 9am and spent less than $ 150 for the Tow + new tire + labor.
