Soggy fries, not that flavorful. Our spicy wings we ordered weren’t spicy at all. And FYI they charge you for that spicy pepper ranch sauce they advertise. Meh. First and last time I’ll be here

The fries are the best out of all the fast food places but to call it fast food is a slight misnomer because they’re extremely slow, on multiple occasions. They’re also the least pleasant of fast food employees, as least on the Spencers Street stretch. Also, the cole slaw was wayyy funky. I guess, most importantly, the chicken was just ok, especially considering how expensive it is. Better quality but the flavor/batter tastes a little chemically to me. Popcorn shrimp is a good fried seafood fix though. So I guess that rounds it out. Get only the fries or shrimp!

We went to this«previously new» restaurant a couple months ago. It’s definitely not the best fried chicken place we ate. Our food served good, tasted similar to other fried chicken places. Servers have a slight management. They offer a lot choices to drink whatever you want. Tables are somehow a little messy. The whole interior of this building is okay but not as perfect as the other Popeyes. I believe this restaurant receives an overall 2.5! I’ve experienced it all. I’m not sure if I’m coming back to this place again. KFC has a better fried chicken but they’re also good! If you drive, just pass this establishment and go to the KFC.

Poor attitude, not even a thank you. What is it with Manchester service employees and managers. Food was expensive for what i recieved. I would think that using a Louisiana brand that customer service would be a priority. If the employees are not happy i wonder what they may do to the food. Keep driving dont stop.

3rd time is the charm! Won’t go in due to the scary looking customers. Went drive thru, 4 cars ahead of me but things moving quickly. Get to the speaker, promptly greeted, gave my order, was repeated back then asked to drive up. Once I get to window, I am told the total, give my card, 5 seconds later given my card, receipt and order. A total of 3 minutes! The order was perfect, had plenty of napkins, plastic ware. If the crowd improves, I may try going in but the drive thru service is solid.

UGH — this particular Popeyes franchise sucks mightily. The chicken is very very expensive. We went in there to get I think a 12 pc dinner and spent nearly $ 50. CRAYCRAY! Granted we bought a few extras but no damned fried chicken dinner is worth fifty bucks. Our order included an alleged filled container of extra gravy which — btw — contained exactly 2TBS of gravy for three or four bucks. Their biscuits are flat and super salty, the sides are awful — mac and cheese is like something you’d have gotten for lunch in Bad Child In Hell School Cafeteria. The chicken is tasty but VERY salty. The spicy chicken is strangely NOT salty but is maybe marinated in hot sauce or has it sprinkled on but very unevenly and is lacking in any spicing, so one minute you’ll bite into a bland piece of breaded chicken and the next a very hot spicy one. The regular is good — nice spice blend but like I said, be prepared with plenty of hyrdating fluids otherwise your head will eventually explode. Good sides that I can speak to: dirty rice, gravy. Order extra, none of the containers are filled. If we ever go back which is doubtful, I am checking the order to make sure they fill them. I’m not paying for air. The kids who work there are great, very pleasant, but don’t expect to get ANYthing gratis. Nothing comes free. You have to ask for your spork. Later for that lameness. PS. I went online and wrote to Popeyes corporate. Two months later, still no answer.

Very disappointed just left there sun 17th at 8pm. My first 3 choices not there. I asked Po boy fish they are out asked for chicken only has mild asked for nuggets for the kids none. I just drove off. How does a chicken place operate without chicken nuggets or the rest. Shame usually it’s pretty good

I was really not expecting the food to be so good! Cashiers were friendly, order was up quick and piping hot, red stick chicken is delicious! The regular boneless chicken was juicy, the Mac and cheese was okay, biscuit’s were buttery and perfect, no complaints on the Cajun fries, and the pies for dessert were both very good(pecan and cheesecake). We will definitely be back, pricing wasn’t bad either.

Had a similar experience to John N. The person taking my order made a comment about me wanting a medium size drink, they gave me no napkins or spork with my order which was a 3 piece w/mashed potatoes. Not sure how she expected me to eat the mashed potatoes maybe I was to carry around my own silverware. The chicken was very greasy and the grease shot out onto my shirt on the first bite, could really have used a napkin. I had already left and was at my destination when I was eating so it was too late to go back and get napkins. I’ve never had such poor service from the other Popeye’s that I frequently eat at in Hartford, CT. I love Popeye’s but this one needs new employees.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ok, so 4 stars cause im a glutton! if only you were a chic fil a, well id move back to east hartford… ok, i wouldnt but i do love me some nuggets! what can you say, this part of town could use all the help it can get and between popeyes and the mcd’s across the street, youd think there were a large amount of college kids in the area(there is!) and that your population likes food with no nutritional benefits,(which it is) anyway, cant beat the fact its 10 minutes away from me now, i have nothing else to say but 3.18 for a 6 piece nugget to go. the service isnt surly like i see at other popeyes, but that could change.
