Radiant Nails and Spa

My Mom just moved to Manchester and after trying 2 different nail salons in the area she was worried she would never find a nice place in the area. We were eating at Shorty’s and decided to try to Radiant Nails and Spa, we were greeted with warm and friendly people. We fell in love with the place. I live in Massachusetts, so only go there when I’m visiting my Mom… but she goes every 2 weeks.
I love the people, the staff, the cleanliness and everything about it.
I recommend going there — the make you feel like family.

Normally, I only use Unilocal to read other reviews and help make decision when I need a new hair salon, restaurant suggestion, etc. However I am so unhappy with this place that I feel the need to write about my experience.
The one star is barely justified, but I guess it’s fine because everyone was friendly. But that’s where the positives end. I paid $ 50 for what was probably the worst mani and pedi I have ever received.
First of all, I didn’t think the place was that clean. Not horrible, but not as clean as I expected based on other reviews. The tech who did my pedi used some type of oil that burnt my cuticles. The massage was nonexistent, basically she just put some lotion on my feet and calfs and barely rubbed it in. My feet are still rough and full of callouses. I don’t mind paying $ 30 for a pedi, but i expected much more than this.
The manicure was about 10 minutes long and consisted of one coat of clear polish, which was applied quickly and very sloppy. All for $ 20, which is pretty steep to begin with for a basic mani.
Will never be back and am pretty mad I wasted my time and money here.

Very clean and friendly people. If you pay with cash it’s usually $ 2 to $ 3 cheaper then paying with debt/​credit card.

I have been looking for a good nail salon and I think I found it. I walked in without an appointment & was told it would be about 15 minutes & it was. Many times a place will tell you a wait time & then get you started just to leave you there so they don’t lose a sale so I appreciated the honesty. The staff seemed very friendly, fast & efficient. The gentleman made sure to ask for my name & used it while I was there, I noticed he seemed to remember several people as they came in so I can tell they have regulars & appreciate their clients. I got a full acrylic set today & it looks great, i am actually going back tomorrow for a pedicure since I did not have time today, plus I like to check out a place for cleanliness before I get one & saw how they cleaned & disinfected after each person. Good price, yes there are less expensive around but you get what you pay for. ;)

Second time here. First time for acrylics based on the reviews on Unilocal.A big more expense than others on the area but from what I saw today, well worth it. Would highly recommend.
