I went with my best friend. I ordered mac and cheese with chicken(and wine). My friend ordered some sort of fish taco. We both really enjoyed the food. Our waitress was really great. The outdoor seating is wonderful! Its very comfortable. The fire pits and fire lanterns made the ambiance welcoming and relaxing. The weird part was walking through a gym to get there. Also having the gym staff stopping us at the front asking us where we were going was a bit uncomfortable. But all in all we liked it so much we brought friends back the next afternoon for lunch. I had a burger. It was huge and delicious! The outdoor bar pulls off tiki in a classy way. It was a beautiful enjoyable experience. Our waiter that day was personable and funny and on his game. — Will definitely go again.

Slow slow slow… Ignored by waitress multiple times. No drink refills offered. Mahi mahi severely overcooked. Worst… Service…Ever. Will not return.

I feel like I should put an update here, because I continue to come back. «My» bartender Jay has move on, however my experience at Sizzle continues. The draft list continues to evolve, which, as a beer drinker, keeps me interested. Gone are the days of marrying one beer rep– here are the days where the quality of beer matter. I usually partake in the fried pickles, but LIVE the stately nachos if I have a companion– buffalo tenders and cheesecake are delicious as well. I come here BECAUSE its not part of the downtown scene. It’s a place where the people working know you, have a drink and a smile ready. In a day of chains, canned welcomes, specials and boring drink menus, it’s a welcome independent I plan on supporting :)

Three strikes and out. I’ve tried it over and over but it’s just not worth it. We tried again tonight and my scallops were great. But the haddock piccata was so spicy it burned your mouth! So was the blackened mahi-mahi…way too spicy… sort of on the habanero level. The salad wad ordered with soy ginger dressing on the side but was delivered with honey mustard and when we mentioned it they insisted it was soy ginger… This could be a great place but they need a new chef. This used to be part of the same group as Hooked and Ignite,(which we love) but not any more. As much as I’d like to have this work because it’s close to our house, this is our last visit.

My husband wanted to check this place out. I know that this place is the same owner as ignite, so we gave it a try. The location like others said, is a bit odd. There are signs to use a specific entrance, however when we went down this odd ramp/driveway, the doors were locked. We were going to leave, but decided to ask the gym if they were closed. The front desk person at the Executive Gym told us we had to use this entrance, the other one that we went too is closed during the day. They should have clearer signs, I can see a lot of people who think this place may be closed because of the locked entrance, where there is a large sign that says USETHISENTRANCE is. When we went through the gym, passing the indoor pool, and people using the gym, we got to the restaurant. We sat at the bar, and there were two people behind the bar that saw us, but didn’t greet us and instead went outside. This happened for the next 10 min. Then finally the bartender came over, who was outside, came to ask if we wanted menus, which we did. But then gave us menus and left and went back outside. When he came back, we asked right away, if anyone was working the bar inside and he said he was the only one there and works both inside and outside. I thought this was odd, since, he had to come in and out to accommodate both, but it was Sunday around 4:30 pm. It wasn’t busy in the restaurant at all, but there is an outside pool at the gym, where the restaurant also services. So the bartender was helping the people from the gym outside at the pool. This is where the location seems to not make sense to me. There were also a ton of kids everywhere, mainly outside by the pool though. I found it odd, not one person greeted us, not even the wait staff, if we didn’t sit at the bar, I guess we would have sat anywhere. The bartender wasn’t bad and he did make me a good martini! I felt bad he had to work both in and out with no help. I asked the bartender some questions about the wings and he was knowledgeable about the menu, which was good and they were able to do do half and half for different wing sauces. So it was accommodating. My husband got the fish taco appetizers, which include 3 good sized tacos and he liked those very much. I didn’t like the sauces for the wings. I got the jerk spice and some sweet soy ginger sauce. Which both were super salty and the soy wings, just tasked like soy sauce. The jerk wings were in a buttery sauce, which I would of thought jerk wasn’t saucy, maybe he ordered the wrong ones. I would not get them again though, they were tiny wings too. The menu to me, seemed to be a replica of Ignite, which was surprising, since the name is Sizzle and I would of taken that for a steak house. But it was an american type food restaurant. The have burgers, chicken, salad and a kids menu and different apps.. I thought the pricing was pretty average. I don’t know where else you would go to find cheaper prices for these types of dishes, so to me the pricing was on point. I didn’t really like the location, if it was outside of the gym, I think it would have been better, but being part of the gym and the urgent care center, was weird. To go to the bathroom, I mean you pass the Pilates and training room, which then made me feel like a heffer for eating wings. I don’t think I would go here again, I like other restaurants better, but maybe I would try it night instead.

I have been here twice with my boyfriend. Its kind of a weird location to get to. I couldn’t figure it out at first! The first time we visited, we sat outdoors next to the pool. They have a tiki bar and these cool towers that have fire in them. There was also some fire pit tables. The staff was very pleasant and out waitress was very knowledgable about the drink menu, which had some awesome and different varieties. I had a chicken caesar salad, and my boyfriend had the fish and chips. Both were amazing! The second time, we sat inside with friends. The bartender was more than willing to think up some creative concoctions upon my request. This time we got a burger, and friends got mac and cheese. Everyone was more than happy with the outcome. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

We ate there last night. The location isn’t the greatest since its by the airport. Its attached to a health club which just seems like an odd combination. With that said there outdoor seating and bar makes the space interesting. They have outdoor tables with fires in the middle of the table. Gives are real cool ambiance. The food is good, I recommend trying the Costa Rican Fish tacos. They were excellent. The drinks are a little pricey but they make the best espresso martini in Manchester. They had a little issue with my food that the owner demanded on making right so all is forgiven. We will go back.
