A friend of mine had gotten numerous tattoos AND piercings here, so I was thinking of getting a tattoo here earlier per her recommendation. Since she wanted to get one of hers touched up I decided to go with her to check the place out. The«welcomer» was not very welcoming. We walked in at 7:15, and were immediately turned away after asking to do a touch up because it would take too long to set up, and the original artist was not there. The artist was very dismissive, saying he would never touch another artists work. I understand that HOWEVER it was going over a very small heart. Maybe the size of a dime. I found it very odd he wouldn’t touch another artists work but would be willing to do it if they paid(again) $ 50. We asked if they could look up in their system to see who actually did their original tattoo and the girl behind the desk said she was new and didn’t know how to look that up. I honestly would not recommend this place after going there to anyone. The staff though there was only two of them visible seemed so rude, looking to make a quick buck or just go home.

First non-traditional piercing. Went just fine and nearly 2 weeks later my ear is well on its way to being healed. Staff was courteous and helpful. if I ever get another piercing I’ll probably go back to Spider-Bite.

The guy I had was Brody he was a jerk was NOT nice at all was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. Talked down to me like I was a idiot. Told me to get out of his face it’s his shop he can talk how ever way he wants. There was a dog walking around the shop that didn’t seem very sanitary. Over all the guy was a jerk and I would never talk to any one the way he did me.

I got my belly button pierced here and didn’t have one single problem with it. My piercer was very friendly! I was in and out within no time! The downfall, pricey. I paid for the hole, jewelry, and after care. Costed a little over $ 100 for a belly button piercing… I can’t really complain though because it all turned out perfect.

THISISFORTHESMOKESHOP: I had been going here for 10 years(since I was 16) and all I get is a douchey attitude and TERRIBLE customer service. Why? They are not used to COMPETITION, which they now have plenty of! They act like they are«cool» and thus, by their definition of cool I guess, act like douches. Why put up with it? There are plenty of QUALITY places in the area that will treat you with respect and CUSTOMER service! Their smoke-shop is small, subpar, and again, the people treat you with a douchey attitude AND it’s price?! Why would I deal with this; I’d much rather go down the street(Good Times) and Bona Fide or other tattoo places, instead of here. Also, you should know this as well, which is: the money goes to a TERRIBLE source. Why support them?(ps info can be found at local courthouse in terms of who they are connected with; local judges will actually tell you). Typical Manchester Trash: ALL of them!

Went down with my friend to watch her get her first tattoo, we drove from about 45 minutes away out of recommendation from another friend. We went in and told the girl at the counter that she was here for an appointment… she was reading a magazine and didn’t even look up when we walked in. She rolled her eyes at us and asked us to wait until he was done because he was behind schedule. We waited for over an HOUR until he was done(probably would have just up and left but it was a long drive to get there). Finally he calls us in and asks what she wanted, she showed the design she wanted and he replies«You sure you want this on your wrist forever? It’s not very original, i’ve tattoo’d this same thing hundreds of times», very rude. She sucked it up and had him tattoo it and it came out fine, nothing wrong with his artist work, but then he gave the price…$ 180 for a small wrist tattoo. My friend questioned the price of it saying that over the phone when she described it that he gave an $ 80 estimate. He then replied«Yeah well, sh*t happens, that tattoo will last longer than any f*cking car you will ever have. A price is a price.» My friend left without paying…

I had my first tattoo done by Jason. I came in to ask a couple of questions a few weeks before I actually went in to have my ink done, and I was immediately impressed by the professionalism with which I was treated. I asked to see their autoclave and got a little tour of how everything is kept sterile. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable. I went in to actually get inked a few weeks later, a bit nervous since it was my first tattoo. Jason immediately put me at ease and took me through exactly how my tattoo would look. The finished tattoo has clean lines and nice shading; it’s exactly what I wanted! All in all a wonderful experience — no complaints. Three stars not for anything bad, but it also didn’t have much in the way of impressive, either. While Jason is a great artist and more or less the shining star of the place, the folks at the desk tend to be a bit surly, and some of the other tattoo artists can be a bit short with you. If I didn’t know of another clean, competent shop, I’d go back, but there are a few places in Boston that blow this out of the water.

Ok. Im from NYC and my husband is originally from NH. We were visiting family in town and we had to go to Spider-Bite because my daughter needed a gauge for her ear(she lost one). After laughing outside of the place for a good 5 minutes because they have: 1. tattoo parlor 2. body piercing 3. tanning 4. hair salon 5. nails 6. a freakin LIMO service. Pardon me, but any REAL tattoo parlor is known for one thing and that’s for their tattoo’s. They have 6 other side businesses to piggy-back on them to bring in more revenue. And if they’re not after the revenue(yea right) then what kind of moron would think that those 6 businesses even BELONG together(tattoo and piercing fine, but that still skeeves me out and seems typical — Paul Booth doesnt have piercing at his shop, duh). After we spotted the gauges she wanted, we literally stood there why two«punk rock» chicks just sat behind the counter and checked out their MySpace pages. Finally I asked if someone could help me. They both sighed and said… Um, Ok. The one that helped us was nice, but a bit too overly nice. Almost annoying. After that — we were done. I laughed some more when I got outside. And swore to NEVER go back there again. Id love to bring those losers that own that place down to NY and show them what a real tattoo parlor looks like. They sure as hell dont have tanning/nails/hair in the back. haha! Its SOOO Manchester!

this place has gone downhill since all the talent left a few years ago… let’s just say the management is not admirable. look elsewhere my friends.
