Out for a lunch. Waitress friendly but lunch took forever! Husband ordered a cup of vegetable soup said the vegetables were«crunchy«. I ordered a burger when I finally received it was ok. Husband ordered Maui Maui dinner asked waitress said it was Season with Lemon Pepper was too lemon flavored and pepper was so strong. And fishy tasting. Since meal took so long waitress paid for meal. Thank God it was on the house would not would of paid for it.

Atmosphere is yuck, corny and too bright. Food is basic, blah, mostly heated up, processed stuff from a Gordon’s or Sysco type supplier. I have heard good things about their fish fry, although I have not personally had it. Service is fair.

Small place, tastefully done. Clean bathrooms. 3 – 4 tvs. The cheese stick were 3⁄5 better than say Applebee’s. The ranch was amazing. I got the wolf burger. Way to big of a serving. I would rather pay less for less. Burger was pretty good. I give the place a 3 out of 5 nothing worth driving to far for tho. :/

I have ate here many times and it has always been my dining pleasure! The food is amazing, great portion sizes, great prices, great variety! Home made for sure! Very clean and great waitstaff! We do carry out and it is always ready on time! Will be a patron for life!

A little something for everyone here. Huge portions, great staff, great environment. Full bar but is hardly used so you dont have to worry about regular bar flies. Even getting a veggie grilled cheese is a lot of food! Great prices and great selection overall.

Food is horrible and often served with beyond the date vegetables. There are a few good waitresses but the most are rude and negligent. Everything on the menu is overpriced and not very good. Save yourself the money and go to Subway if you want crappy food.

Nothing special here. Just another sports bar that serves frozen foods they deep fry and bagged salads with bottled dressing that taste like it came from the dollar store. Service was pretty slow, too, having only 2 waitresses while every table was full. They told us they were out of mushrooms then changed their mind and gave us a half order at a full order price. Rip off!

Best burgers ever!!! Huge portions!!! It takes a little long to get your food but wouldn’t you want it to taste good even if it takes a little longer? Waitresses are really nice and always keep you up with your drinks.

Have lived in the area for 7 years. Every time I have gone there the waitresses are slow and not very friendly. The reason for the review is I called on Friday night to order a to go order. Someone answered the phone then placed it down on the counter where we were on «hold» for 30 min while we drove from Ypsilanti to the restaurant. When arriving to order we told the bartender and they really didn’t care and we had to wait 30 min for the food. The food is good but it’s not really worth the wait and service.

Slow service. Frozen deep fried food. Typical Gordon food service crap.

Food is good, and portions are large. Service is consistently slow, and prices are high for what you get, with the exception of the fish during Lent. 6 dollar kids meals not counting drinks makes this a no-go for our family. Bridgewater Bank has better food and lower prices.

I am not a fish guy per se. I like it once in a while when done the way I like it. Usually grilled and not deep fried. The best fish I have had prior to this is Thirstys in Dundee, MI48131. It is thick and juicy like a steak and the breading peels off easily if you like to cut the fat content. Enter The Hungry Wolf. I tried the all you can eat cod on a Thursday night and let me tell you that the first plate had so much fish on it I did not need to reorder. Thick and juicy. I am a big 255 lb guy and can put some food away; one plate full here did it for me. Mashed P and Gravy was decent as well. Nice!

The other reviewers are right, portions are huge, and the menu is geared to the burger-and-fries crowd. There are some salads on the menu(huge), and some non-meat options(double-decker grilled cheese), and there’s a kid’s menu with standard kid options. My favorite menu item might be the patty melt — reserved for special occasions or days when I’m skipping dinner. The BBQ sandwich is good too! Love the sweet potato fries. Potato skins are yummy and you can order them a la carte. Full bar, good beer selection, a few pie selections for dessert. The terrific wait staff is friendly and always happy to see you. It’s a nice place to stop for a slow, leisurely lunch or dinner.

Exceeded my expectations. Stopped here with family on our way to Crystal Lake. We originally passed it up, its bland exterior and the presence of a couple of Harley’s out front made it look like a biker bar. We asked a local downtown where to get lunch, and he said hands down the Hungry Wolf — good food, great portions. We went back. Inside, it’s actually quite nice, and looks recently renovated. Well lit and somewhat quaint, it’s got wolf-themed décor. As for the food, none of us had a burger, so I can’t really review their flagship offerings. My chef salad was huge and quite tasty, if nothing particularly special, but hey, it’s a chef salad. My grandmother liked her BLT and my mom raved about the butternut squash soup, though I didn’t try either. My dad’s country fried steak was very good, the only complaint being the use of probably canned gravy. For the price, though, the food was good, the portions large, and the service friendly.

Holy portion control issues Batman! Come hungry. This place is so far off the beaten path you will be convinced you are lost before you get there unless you are a local. My father knows how to lure me though, offer a new tasty burger to sample on his dime. The drive was worth it, I have to say. The atmosphere is nothing special. The service can be slow. Fair warning. They are really friendly here but this place has a pace firmly set at mosey. They did keep us in drinks, including some nice iced tea. The burgers are huge and tasty, hand pattied. My mom and I each had one(mine was a jalapeño burger that was on special). Both were cooked to order and quite happy. We had some delicious onion rings to go with. You will not finish it all, do not even try. My dad had a very good delmonico steak and was blissful. My parents have been out for the fish fries on Fridays and say it is delicious but I cannot verify it. Prices are great, especially considering the size of things. Not health food, which definitely worked for me today.
