Anxiousness, fear, uncertainty. All of these emotions flowed through my torso as I entered the Pizza Box with my six friends. As we placed our order, sweat dripped down my face, as I had no idea what to expect from the final product. Eventually, we took our seats at a large enough table to accommodate our party. As we waited for the food to be prepared, something immediately caught my attention. Two adults were involved in a somewhat intense scuffle just outside the premises of the dining establishment. My friends and I were trying to have a nice relaxed experience, yet we were perplexed by the passion and anger being displayed outside. Eventually, we were able to put that experience past us and continued to wait for our food. The service once again failed to impress. Our order was placed at approximately 7:20. The pizza did not arrive until approximately 8:00. At this point, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. As you can imagine, a 40 minute wait while being the only people present does not give you a positive impression of a business. When the pizza was ready, an employee asked us if we were waiting for pizza (keep in mind that we are the only people in the restaurant). After some confused stares amongst ourselves, we accepted the pizza and attempted to enjoy ourselves. We were unsuccessful in doing so. The greasy pizza combined with mediocre service factored into me giving this restaurant another one star review. Despite my negative experiences here, as well as multiple one star reviews, I fully expect to return in the near future. I ended my Saturday night with stomach pain and despair, and I can not wait to do it again.

Great service and good food. I came with my two kids for dinner and they offered crayons and coloring books to entertain while we waited for our food. The food was hot and fresh and very tasty.

This was the first pizza place I tried in Manchester when I moved here, everything is good and the wings are about as cheap as you can get for their wing night. The only issue that I have with the place, which is why I only gave them a 3 star, is the long wait time. If you call, not even around the lunch/​dinner rush, you are looking at a 30 – 40 minute wait. I have sometimes waited until 45 minutes to pick up my food, and sometimes you would have to wait even when you got there. My wife also got a salad there, and they just use the chopped up lettuce, we called and complained and the manager was nice enough to give us a discount next time we came in.

Soggy greasy food. Not very clean inside either. If the pic on Unilocal with the contacts truly is the owner ya might want to change that pic. Unprofessional and if you want anyone to take your business seriously you’ll change it. Can’t wait till chic-​fil-​a opens in Manchester later this year!

I’m not going to lie: their pizza and stromboli isn’t the best. I’m not saying it’s bad or cheap, just not the best.
Their subs, however, are delicious. I would say if you want stromboli call Jim and Ninas and call Parma for pizza. But if you’re looking for anything else call this place.
Just yesterday I ordered subs, clam strips, and cauliflower. It took a while to get delivered but it was well worth the wait.

We went here last night for dinner and I’ll have to agree with some of the others on here about the long wait! It took them over an hour! I. thought the pizza was okay really, not the best but not the worse. But I do have to say I loved the stumbolli… it was very good!

The worst pizza and Stromboli I’ve ever had. Way too much oregano in their sauce and nothing has any flavor.

This is my favorite place in the area to get a philly cheesesteak, I LOVE the bread and it has a good amount of meat and all the fixings I could want. Their boneless wings are good, not the best regular wings but not bad either. Prices were fair but I hear they’re going up. They are almost always busy so be prepared to wait anywhere from 25 – 45 minutes and way longer if you want delivery. Pizza, Mozzarella sticks, and onion rings all good. Not a fan of their french fries. I obviously eat there a lot.

The subs are awesome, all the food is really good… when the right cooks are working, sad to say, lately it’s been hit and miss with this place.

Just because you get a nice amount of food for a good price, does’nt mean the food is good. We’ve tried PB&HS twice & the 2^nd time is the last time. Compared to other relatable joints in the area (Parma’s, Jim & Nena’s), I rate them last. When you mess up the french fries & tossed salad, 2 of the easiest things to make, it’s a wrap for me.

My brother and I are both fans of the Pizza Box. The delivery drivers are excellent. Food has always been delicious. My brother swears by the A-​1 steak stromboli, and always has a desert stromboli.
Service is quick for a pizza shop, food is delish, and pricing is fitting.

Good food, good price. Sub par service when eating in. Slow

This is what comfort food should be! Gourmonds need not waste their time. This is food for people that like fattening cheese covered goodness.
Ask for the phatboy they will know what you mean.

this place is about 5 min from my house and I have passed it for about a year and never checked it out. So last night I wanted to order something in and called them up. I noticed the pics here and ordered some Pizza Box Fries and a Bacon Cheeseburger boli and a 2 liter of coke w/​½ dozen wings to share. The food arrived hot which was good but without the 2 liter of soda. The delivery guy jumped in the truck and was back with it fast, though so I was happy. I would agree the place deserves 3.5, but I bumped it up to four for making sure we got our complete order when they made a mistake. I really enjoyed the meaty wings with tasty sauce most, but the fries and boli were both very good in a heavy fat, salty meaty kind of way with lots of cheese — I slept like a baby after the calorie intake I got.

my BF is a total fan of this place! they serve good food in huge quantities and at great prices. hole in the wall place… I havent found ‘my dish’ yet, but i’m working on it!
we ordered the food for delivery and they were super busy… so my hoagie was a bit saturated with sauce. (took about an hour) the sausage was amazing… so much sausage! but i think it was even better hours later at room temperature. the clam strips were good, but the fries were best when covered w/​cheese… not on their own.
my BF is a fan of the cheeseburger hoagie.
