This Wendy’s is located within the Love’s Truck Stop. We stopped by because the kid was hungry and needed some protein to complement his carbohydrate-heavy pancake breakfast. I also think he’s hitting another growth spurt as he devoured his double burger and chicken wings order. I had an unremarkable, albeit filling taco salad, while Gayle opted for the Mandarin Chicken Salad. At least Wendy’s offers a good selection of non-burger choices. If there is a next time, I’ll try one of the baked potatoes. But the real treat for me on this short stop was to look around the truck stop side of the house. That includes looking at the trucking accessories and observing the culture and the facilities that Love’s offers these road warriors.
