Cozy and challenging at the same time. I took a great class with Kate last week. It was gentle yoga, but had opportunities for people to stretch their bodies even further if they so wished without making the rest of us feel like we were falling behind. It had the perfect balance of flow and rest and made me really relaxed. For people who wanted even more, there was a meditation session at the end. The space itself is beautiful — from the sunny front room where you can peacefully wait for classes to begin(with its rotating art collection!) to the equipment(blankets, blocks, straps, etc.) that was all in really good shape. I’m definitely going back next time I’m home — you should check it out as well!

A great space. I found this place online. Wanted to go to a yoga class while I’m in nh visiting family. There’s not a lot of options in the area so I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality. My instructor was great(Kate?) — she was really helpful in going around and adjusting your postures. And I left feeling like I got a good workout but not pushed too hard and also de-stressed! It was very professional. You can sign up and pay online. It also wasn’t crowded at all.

An awesome studio with some awesome people. Classes are fun and challenging for all without being overwhelming for someone who has never practiced before. I definitely suggest trying out their intro special, a week of unlimited classes for $ 20($ 15 for student/seniors) — if you go 3 – 4 times you’ll get a really good idea if it’s something for you. Manchester is very lucky to have YogaBalance, so a special thanks to the studio owners, Ron and Ann!(Oh and mats are free to borrow and VERY clean, so that’s a plus too.)
