Have to agree with previous reviewer who said diamond in the rough. Zoey’s has a rustic atmosphere and laid-back style but the food is excellent. Burgers are big, cooked perfectly and delicious. The grilled vegetable salad is a luscious surprise as is the fish taco salad. And the portions are very generous, especially considering the price. Great value for yummy food.

We stopped here on our way back to NYC from Stratton. We’ve driven past 100 times, but never stopped in. My husband started with the french onion soup, which he described as «ok.» I had the Caesar with salmon. It was very good. There’s a good selection of kid’s meals as well, which I appreciated. There was nothing remarkable about this place, but I’d come here again. My only real complaint was our waitress who had an air of irritation from the moment we walked in. She wasn’t overtly rude, but she seemed annoyed and unfriendly for the duration of our meal.

Me and my lady friend were spending 2 days up at Stratton Mountain and decided to come here for dinner after doing a little shopping in Manchester. The initial plan was to eat up at Stratton but boy were we glad that our appetites got the best of us as we impulsively decided to change plans and eat here. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome… Even though this place had a good Unilocal rating, we were both a bit skeptical about how this place would be because looking from the outside of this place, it doesn’t look like much… The fact that every table was full on a Wednesday night however was a good sign. Anyways we ordered mussels as an app, they were great. I ordered one of the specials which happened to be a salmon and scallop dish with mashed potatoes and green beans. The salmon and scallops were INCREDIBLE!!! … She ordered the Ahi tuna and she said it was the best she’s ever had!!! I usually have a personal rule where I never order seafood from anywhere that is beyond 50 miles from the ocean but this proved me wrong! Also I must mention that service, portion size and prices were good too…

Just happened to see this place driving from Stratton Mountain back to Albany. Really, really good American Diner fare. Nice, big flavors. Nothing fancy, they just do what they do really well. Will stop again next time I’m in the area.

What a diamond in the rough! Located just outside of the thickly settled Manchester downtown shopping areas, you would probably miss it if not for Unilocal!Efficient, no-nonsense server who delivered our meals quickly and correctly. Best burger I’ve had in years — grilled quality beef patty with fresh onion, lettuce, tomato and a delicious pickle. My partner’s grilled veggie salad with chicken had a great selection of grilled items atop succulent lettuce, such as sweet potato, asparagus and tomato. The chicken doesn’t even need to be commented on because it was obviously delicious. Such a great little restaurant, and so cheaply priced! Highly recommended.

Food was good, service was a bit lackluster. I had the pork tenderloin which was juicy and delicious but did not have much flavor of maple sauce as promised. My friends had the Thursday night special of roasted chicken dinner that was juicy and flavorfull. The salmon special was also very good but a bit small. The French onion soup was very good.

Our guest drove us all the way from Granville, NY to Manchester, VT for a good dinner treat. Well considering all the road we drove we were expecting high class — 7 star restaurant. At first it did not look like it was up to our expectation but a half an hour wait said — this place must be good. 35 minutes after a wait we got seated. Inside. The Ambiance was good but a bit loud. We ordered. I got the fish but others got the burger. I had to order a hex burger after receiving my fish. Waited a bit but the burger was juicy. Service was ok, inside was loud. Outdoors were filled. The garden was good for kids to run. Thanks to our host. We had a good dinner.

The service was great. Our food came out very fast and our waitress was right on top of things. I got the Greek burger which was tasty. We got desserts which were huge. The prices were really reasonable.

Great place! We were sat on the porch, which was really nice and cozy. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful(I think her name was Wendy). Food was delicious. We had maple glazed wings for the appetizer and they didn’t last long. We also ordered the maple chicken, mac & cheese, steak and burgers. All of the dishes were great. The chocolate pecan pie was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place!

Zoey’s is my go to restaurant! Onion strings are an absolute must when eating here. I’m also VERY partial towards the maple glazed pork tenderloin as it is always cooked perfectly. Love it here!

Zoey’s is like a lot of places we eat at these days. It’s a diner pretending to be a restaurant. So instead of diner prices you get restaurant prices. It’s really pretty good and you can order booze there which is great, but it’s like an expensive diner.

I have gone here multiple times. And each time I go there I love it and always want to come back. I have gotten the same thing every time and it just gets better each time. I’ve seen some reviews claim poor service, and there are a few individuals who do work there that are snotty and rude, however, the overall experience is not that bad. I highly recommend(for meat lovers) the Barbecue Bacon Burger, it’s amazing and delicious and always cooked to perfection. I’ve also had the steak, which was cooked exactly to my liking, however the price for the steak was a bit high seeing as the steak was quite small. Like I said, the overall experience service is fine and the food is incredibly wonderful. They are always busy it seems like and sometimes you can’t even get an order for take out because they’re too busy. However, my sister and I had gotten in late on a trip, and we knew they closed at 9 pm, we were there around 8:39 and we were thinking they probably wouldn’t take the order. So we called and they said yes! We were very thankful and happy with their service and politeness despite how late it was!

This is a nice spot for exactly what it advertises — a good road stop with standard American fare. They were busy when we went in, but I don’t agree with the other reviews proclaiming bad service. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was standard. We had a sandwich, the tomato bisque soup, and hot chocolate. All were normal, but prices were nice and low.

Let me start by saying the employees are so rude I almost walked out. My husband is a chef here in New York City and I have eaten all over the US. I was shocked and appalled at our treatment. The hostess/waitress with shoulder length auburn hair and glasses is who started off with the shitty attitude. Then our mannish waitress was such a bitch I could hardly contain myself. She told me if I got tea I would get water and ONE tea bag. She wholeheartedly emphasized ONE tea bag. I felt like saying«no shit lady, how many tea bags do people normally use?!» Then the kids were told they weren’t allowed refills. We asked if we could replace our complimentary gross Ice Cream Sundays(on a COLDRAINYDAY) for something else, hot chocolate, coffee, anything… and were just rudely told NO as this lady rolled her eyes. I really really hated this woman and on a $ 140 tab she got the hint when we gave her around a $ 3 tip. The food was okay which I gave a star for and ONE young waitress in her 20s my cousin knew was also very polite(unfortunately she wasn’t our waitress) but your other staff lost you every single other star. Never ever will I go back and my family who lives in Arlington and Dorset also swore they wouldn’t either.

Been here with the family for lunch a couple in times in the past, sandwiches and such, every thing was good. Last week I decide to look at their diner menu online & saw footlong Slaw Dog. I’m a big, big fan of slaw & tatter, dogs especially the kosher deli’s in NYC. Ordered little neck clams in white wine, garlic & lemon & the slaw dog. Looked at Thursday’s daily special menu, for $ 13 you had a choice of soup or salad, pot roast, chicken, haddock or salmon & dessert. The entrée came with vegetable + starch(potato, rice) & from what I saw the portions were quite generous, no wonder this place is packed for diner. My clams arrived — WOW didn’t expect dozen & half clams for $ 7, maybe six, and the sauce was just terrific, not salty at all. Finally my slaw dog arrived all smothered in homemade creamy slaw & home made chips. The only problem was that the dog was on a regular bun. THISDOGNEEDS A FOOTLONGBUN. Looked kind of silly drooping at both ends laden with all that slaw. I added some mustered & proceeded to devour it — yum All in all good value, good food.
