I must be a freak, because I have had nothing but great service here at this location; either morning or for lunch. The employees are friendly and I haven’t had a bad order here yet.

This Burger King serves a very specific purpose. So it’s really late and you don’t feel like going to Waffle House. Sure you could go to the 24 hour McDonalds, but you have been impressed with the recent spate of advertisement for the Big King sandwich. What should you do? Head for this BK. The outward appearance of this location makes you be live it’s closed. Despite the 24 hour drive thru, there is almost always no one in the drive thru. My late night experiences here have been pretty good as BKs are concerned. It seems that all of the BKs I’ve been to in the past several years have all strived for a certain level of service. Horrible service. This BK breaks the mold. The staff that I saw were friendly and courteous. They do make you pull up from the window even though there is no one else in line. I don’t understand why, but I assume there’s some alarm if they don’t do it. Anyway, this is a solid place to come late at night. As for the Big King, it’s pretty good, but it ain’t no Big Mac.

I’ve visited this location twice in the last few days as I suddenly developed a craving for whoppers. The food is OK here, although my whoppers could have been warmer. The fries were fine. I ordered a diet sprite and was told by the drive thru attendant that they have over 140 kinds of drinks so that is pretty impressive. Who knew?. One thing I would work on is the attitude of the employees. On both of my last visits I wasn’t greeted at the window. The girls simply stated the amount I owed and took my money. No smile or thank you. The same thing at the next window. I’m handed my food with nothing said. No thank you or come back, nothing. You could tell these girls did not want to be there.

One star for terrible service. The service here has been on a steady decline for the past few months. I only go here for lunch because it is close to my work. Today I had the pleasurable(insert sarcasm here) experience of being waited on by the ever personable(more sarcasm) Heather. I feel that she works the front counter because she is too slow to work in the kitchen. This is not the first time that I have had contact with Heather. Each time, always the same attitude. I approach the counter. Blank deer in the headlight stare comes from Heather. I stare back. The staring contest continues until I finally break the silence. No greeting ever comes from her mouth. I begin to order. Her response? «Is that all?» Followed by a «Forhereortogo?». If I am lucky enough(even more sarcasm) to have her assemble my order at the other end of the counter, the bag or tray is usually thrown on the counter with no parting«Thank you» form her. Forget about being offered condiments. She’s too busy trying to get back to her conversation with whatever other employee is within earshot of her. This girl SHOULDNOT be working with the public. I give up on this location. A few more minutes of drive time to another restaurant for lunch may be time well spent. Thanks for the memories, Heather.
