Cypress Lake Apartments

I needed to extend my lease 2 months while waiting to close on my house. Tonti Property Corporate office management had no compassion and raised my rent approx. $ 400 more for those 2 months. This was a 50% increase from what I was paying monthly for my one bedroom apartment. Absurd!!! My friend who lived in Botanica apartments across the highway was only charged $ 100 more a month to go month to month. That’s reasonable. I would have never moved here if I would have known this prior to signing my lease.
When I reached out to corporate office, their reply was that’s why we gave you options for a lease renewal 60 days out. I find it unreasonable. I suppose I could have lived in my car while waiting for the closing on my house. The office staff on site was nice and very compassionate. I could tell their hands were tied by corporate office. I moved out in September, and its December as I write this review. It still makes me tear up to relive the financial burden they put on me. Those 2 months soured anything positive I would have written on this complex.
If you live in the back right of complex, there are apartments on both sides of street. Parking is not adequate. I often had to park by the back fence if I arrived home after 8pm.
