I’Land Pedispa

My friend and I went in on a whim for pedicures and were the only two customers there, so we got full attention. They have a menu for all the different options which you can peruse while your feet are soaking. We also had complimentary wine, which always makes things better! We both ended up choosing an orange scented bath/​scrub. Next time we go, hopefully we have more time so we can get the «BFF special» which was one of the options from the menu which included a mani and pedi and a glass of wine all for a good price. I would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely horrible experience. Came in the morning and I was the only customer. Took them almost 2 hours to do manicure and pedicure. And they had several manicurist just waiting and talking. The girl doing my nails took frequent breaks to chat. Never going here again. do not recommend.

The place is better than the actual manicures. It’s clean, bright, and loud (homecoming week for the local high school), and the manicurist was funny and engaging.
However, the work was sub par. I asked for him to leave a little length and he filed them ALL the way down. Edges are rough and not exactly straight. I would say that I could have done the same work with my non-​writing hand and a file. The paint job was ok. The base coat he used left some bumps so the color and top coats produced a shiny but almost bubbly appearance.
I’ve had better.

Visiting from Chicago and needed a «no-​chip» manicure and pedicure. Although almost all nail salons offer no-​chip I have found very few that actually apply it properly so that it lasts and looks nice. Christina did an amazing job. The application was impeccable and she was helpful and patient in choosing the right color.
The pedicure was also great including an excellent massage. The salon is very clean and I noticed an employee thoroughly washing the implements. Christina was so friendly and professional. It was particularly refreshing to see great camaraderie among the staff. They seemed to really have a good time and enjoy what they do. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I’ve been to my fair share of nail salons and know how the business works well. I really expected I’Land Pedispa to be at least a 4 star establishment. This review is based on 2 visits to the spa. The first time was mediocre and I thought I would give them a second try. They seem do be over zealous with cuticle clipping. I got 2 cuts and the other ladies their seemed to be getting nicked as well. I could tell because they kept passing the antiseptic for cuts back and forth between nail techs.
I have also had a pedicure here and really don’t enjoy the «wooden bench» style chairs they have. It gives the salon a nice appearance but I totally miss a good massage chair.
My manicure was lopsided on a few nails and the gel came up to my skin on 2 as well. They get 2 stars for a nice selection of gel colors and a good location. In all I hope they see this and up their game, I like the crew and want them to do better.
