Ricky came out ASAP and did a great job fixing a leak in my main water line. He seems like an easy-​going and trustworthy guy. I will use him in the future.

I can echo some of the sentiments of Greg H.‘s review from 2013. I’ve had Ricky Ford (RPF Plumbing) come out to my house a few times to handle plumbing issues. Once he did all the plumbing for a small apartment renovation we did back in about 2007… great job on that! Then we had him come out a few years ago to deal with a clogged sewer line… dirty work, but he knocked it out quickly and without complaining in the summer heat! Another time he took care of a leaky sink and faucets for us, as well as dealing with a water leak in our front yard on our side of the water meter. This was in the heat of the summer and was some tough, dirty work. He knocked it out efficiently, never whined or complained about anything, and did a great job! I’m about to call on him to do a number of other things at our house… replace a toilet, unclog some slow drains, etc. Besides being a great plumber, Ricky’s just a nice guy to deal with. I highly recommend him!

My regular plumber was out of town for a month and the sewer line backed up on a rental property in Bywater. I had no other plumber to call but a friend recommended Richard aka Ricky to do the job. I called RPF Plumbing and asked for Ricky. He called me back within about 20 minutes. I explained the situation and he said he didn’t have the equipment on his truck but he could come over the next morning. I thanked him and said I needed to get someone today. After another 30 minutes of just sitting here trying to figure out what I was going to do, I decided to call him back. He was polite, and willing to come over first thing the next morning. hmmm… A nice polite plumber… something gave me a good feeling about this guy. He met me there at 8AM. It took him about 2.5 hours of pretty shitty work, pardon the pun, but he finally got it unclogged and showed me the nasty Kotex my tenants had been flushing down the toilet.
Not once did he complain or fret even though this was hard, dirty work.
My bill was $ 130.00 and I had to clean a poop speckled tub but I was just thrilled to have it unclogged.
I was impressed with how quick he scheduled my job, his honesty, polite personality and his rate.
