These people appraised my home and made mistakes on the material content of the structure. I wrote them and they did not respond. They were in the pocket of the loan company of the prospective buyer and undercut the value of my home by at least $ 15,000 to accommodate what the company wanted to loan to the buyer. Very shady and illegal. The deal fell through because I know my home is worth more. If your loan company requests these old people who know nothing about new building codes or materials please decline. I now have done more work on the home and will be doing more but I will find an appraisal company of my choosing and will pay for one with a good rating. set me back months in selling my home.
