I donate to St. Francis regularly, but more often than not I come out of the store having bought something else! The place is a treasure trove for little goodies for gifts or yourself: all kinds of glassware, from kitchen items to decorative pieces, small appliances, books, tapes /​cd’s, jewelry, sports equipment, bedding, etc. If you’re not shopping, you can go into the «cat room» and visit with the cats waiting to be adopted. All proceeds from the Thrift Shop go to the care of the animals at SF Animal Sanctuary, which is the reason I bring things here. The staff is very friendly and helpful! (Also check out S&S Consignment next door, who also donate their proceeds to the Animal Sanctuary.)
