Great customer service, stopped by on my walk with my puppy for breakfast and they came outside to take my order and brought it to me due to me having a puppy. Very thoughtful and appreciative, will come back alone for this reason! plus the BLT was good

Horrible service and food is average at best. Overpriced and condescending counter help. Avoid at all costs.

Food quality is just as good and the customer service has been a bit better recently.

I love Manhasset Bagel’s selection and their iced coffee! I’ve been going to them on Sunday mornings for years. Like all bagel shops, there is a bit of a wait, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and clean.

Not the friendliest bunch, but hey it’s Manhasset and they are the only place in town. Bagels are good. Service as other have said awful. Cashier never smiles, and guys behind counter act like they are doing you a favor. But good bagels. Overcharge for everything. Preordered 2 dozen bagels told me they give me a plastic tray for free then noticed a $ 6.00 charge on my card. Will I be back? Maybe I’ll try let their be bagels in port…

Slowest service I’ve ever experienced in my life granted in here at 11:30 and maybe the hype of the morning rush is over but a bagel place as popular as manhasset bagel should know better! I got a mini egg bagel with low fat cream cheese that honestly could have been fluffier. However the 32 oz iced coffee is OUT OF THIS WORLD

Still stand by my last review, this place is dope! Love the food and people working here. One super annoying thing, they put the bacon in the omelet. In other words, I ordered a three egg cheese omelet and 4 pieces of bacon. Well I got an omelet with four pieces of bacon chopped up and put inside the actual omelet. Maybe it’s best to clarify omelet «with» vs omelet «and» or something, idk. I don’t usually order eggs at delis so maybe this is standard procedure.
The bagel and walnut cream cheese were awesome as always!

Have been coming here for bagels for years now, still going back after we moved out of town. YUMMY bagels!!!

Stopped by for a quick bite, this place is wayy over priced.
I ordered toasted bialy with scallion cream cheese with large half and half and it came out to 7 bucks…
And their bialy was madd small, smaller than a hockey puck.
Scallion cream cheese was good though…
Probably wont go back.

Okay, I’m a bagel fanatic. I LOVE bagels and I get them religiously when I’m in New York City.
I was visiting a friend here on Long Island who highly recommended this place, claiming he visited this place regularly before school.
Inside, Manhasset Bagels has more than just simply bagels and breakfast items. They also sell sandwiches and various bakery items (I heard the black and white cookies are fantastic!). I got an American (sausage, egg, cheese) with scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel as well as a half and half (Arnold Palmers).
The bagel had quite a lot for a standard priced breakfast item. And not only that, but the bagel was fantastic, fresh, big, and fluffy/​puffy. I’m sure fluffy/​puffy is the wrong adjective to use, but I could hardly fit it in my mouth. Now the sausage, egg, and cheese were standard, but I thought the bagel and cream cheese were superb and fresh.
And the half and half… amazing! I’m from Texas so I’ve been trying my best to find sweet tea that can compare to what I’ve had. But this comes pretty close.
I love coming to Manhasset Bagels! Highly recommend this place, I make my friend take me every time I visit. :)

Only gave this place one star because the food happens to be good. I stopped coming to this bagel store about a year ago. Today I remembered why. First, they are overpriced. Who charges extra to toast bread? Never heard of this in my life. They regularly rip you off too! This morning my bagel & eggs was posted as $ 2.69 but somehow I was charged $ 3.24. It’s not even the $.56 I am concerned about but they’ve done worse in the past by overcharging even more. Their prices are higher than any other bagel store & it’s also the only place serving breakfast that doesn’t offer breakfast specials during the week, just one to include coffee. Now the worst part is their service. I’ve never come across a nastier, unhappy looking group of guys. What happened to customer service? They actually seem angry at you. Never smiling, it’s awful. However, there are a few exceptions. A couple of guys are nice.
Last year my daughter & I got sick after eating there. I called & eventually spoke to the owner. He profusely apologized for the incident and poor service. He acknowledged that he had a tough time getting good help. He was aware of the demeanor of his staff. It was convenient this morning but I’ll have to forego this bagel store in the future. And, I paid $ 5.00 for my bagel eggs & tea this morning. The exact same order in a great deli in Penn Station is $ 2.50 and Penn Station is in Manhattan, unbelievable.

Extremely rude staff. Customer is always wrong. They mixed up my order, and they said I am a liar when I told them that this is not the way I ordered it, and did not want ti fix it. I will never come back here again

If the food was even just a little worse, I’d give this place one star. But I do have to admit they have decent bagels. My office would order breakfast from here all the time but we became fed up with their horrible customer service. We’ve had many bad experiences with their attitudes but the last one broke the camel’s back when they delivered our food over 45 minutes later (we’re a five minute walk away) and every thing was ice cold. Eggs, bacon, everything. When we called up to question them about it, the person who answered the phone told us he didn’t know what to say and basically to just deal with it. Had enough of this place, we go down the block now for better service.

Food is pretty good, I like their bagels and hot food. I used to order from here weekly until now. The problem is the management. They have absolutely no sense of customer service. In their eyes, the customer is always WRONG. I understand that it’s a busy place, but the people who work there are really rude. I work with people too, I get it. Customers can be annoying but that’s your job. I think these guys need to consider a different line of work. When you have good customers, you take care of them. If something is wrong with my food, you replace it, not talk down to me like I’m an idiot on the phone. Pick a different bagel shop/​deli, there are a million other places in town. Manhasset Bagels does not deserve your business.

Food :
Only really go here for bagels and the bagels are good. May not be an issue for some but they put like a ½ lb of cream cheese on a bagel.
Service :
Cashiers (ones on weekend mornings) are not very friendly, they never smile and it’s like they are annoyed they have to be there. Both are always on their cell when I have to pay for my order, they must be related to owner or something.
Some of the guys that take your order seem to a little cocky for some reason. Staff not exactly the most professional bunch.
They have a $ 5 minimum on credit cards but it is not posted, so if you want a bagel and a drink and don’t have cash on you, you are forced to buy something else or run to an atm.
Guess that is what happens when your the only bagels store in town.
Price :
It’s probably on par with local delis and bagel store for the North Shore.

The good:
Well they have now posted their $ 5 minimum on credit cards.
The bad:
Every time there is something in the news on how beef prices may go up or when gas prices went up or more recently the chicken flu epidemic… they post a sign saying their prices are going up. Up right now (July 2015) is that the prices for eggs have tripled and the would have to raise their prices. Now I have a hard time believing that. I go to Harbor Deli in Port almost every morning and get eggs for the last several years. The price I have paid for the exact same order i always get (8 egg whites) hasn’t changed. Asked the guys at Harbor if their cost went up on eggs and they said no but don’t know if they would. So its either the owner at Manhasset Bagel is trying to have an excuse just to raise his prices or he needs a new distributor. Last time i checked… I am not paying triple for the eggs I get at the supermarket.

Decent food, but they cheated me
Out of my home frys and toast that come with the western omelette I ordered. They charged me the same cost as a western omelette but I didn’t get toast or home fries included in the western omelette because I ordered it on a bagel, which they charged
Me the full price of the bagel as well. If I ordered a western omelette with a bagel on the side I would have got the home fries and toast for exactly 70 cents more according to the douche manager. You fail.

Good bagels, staff is so friendly (Sarcasm).
The sandwiches are awesome, though (no sarcasm).

Love the bagels and coffee is the best !!! Try the black and white cookies yum. Pumpkin muffins are delicious.

BEST BAGELS around anywhere close to here
i’ve tried many bagel places but nothing tastes as good as this place
service is spotty so i can’t give it five stars but you have to try their bagels
they run out sometimes so first come first serve, it gets crowded sometimes

This place gets one star. Horrible service. It’s a shame. Avoid delivery. They can never get an order right when we get it delivered and the food taste stale. They also skimp on the food when delivered.
Sandwiches can also be greasy.
And why so grumpy to the customers?
