Best deli! Great salad bar, amazing panini’s and even if they run out they are always willing to make whatever you want fresh for you!!! great service! When I walk in everyone says hello Always super friendly and they always make me feel right at home! The best deli in Manhasset! You have to try one of their paninis! The chicken vodka is THEBEST! but they all are great! Oh they also have amazing soups! And their chicken cordon blue is amazing also! So I guess you can you say everything is great and you won’t be disappointed!

Went in here briefly for a quick simple sandwich. It is a little run down. Not much organization. Doesn’t feel clean at all. Staff is slightly intimidating. You’d think they’d read all the negative reviews and change their attitudes. Ive been here a few times and its not a delightful experience. Had a simple roast beef sandwich with mayo, cheap mozzarella and some veggies. It was not worth almost $ 9. If I’m playing close to $ 10 for a sandwich, i want it to taste good with good quality. Maybe ill come back if I’m really desperate. Its not worth it

Over priced and unfriendly staff, the place is a bit run down and dirty looking. The owner and young girl cashier are complete snobs. Spent $ 25 on sandwiches to eat at the tables they provide, I asked for a cup of ice for the warm soda I purchased and they told me that would be $ 0.50 extra. Well they just lost a customer over a cup of ice. Horrible customer service. They have sign at the front counter telling you to stay off your cell phone stating it is disruptive to them and other customers. LOL who do they think they are? totally snobbery here. Avoid this place.

Pretty good food here at decent prices and most of the employees are very friendly. I said a friendly«good morning» to the owner at the counter who ignored me while having his eyes glued to his iPad. Meanwhile there’s a sign at the front that asks customers not to be on their phones because it is disruptive… I think he should learn customer service from his staff. Rude owner makes me not wanna come back to this store.

Question: Bathroom? Answer:No sorry can’t find the key. But we have hand sanitizer. Oh, sorry it’s empty. Me: I like to wash my hands before eating. Answer: are you kidding me? Me: that’s okay. Can I have a cup of coffee? Answer: sorry no more coffee. There’s a Starbucks next door. Verdict: place is a dump. Sandwich was ordinary. Find another deli.

This deli is terrible. I got their famous vodka chicken panini and the only thing that was famous about it was how bad it was. The chicken didn’t taste good and the vodka sauce lacked flavor. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. The one plus with this place is that it has a large seating area so all the kids from the middle school can hang out here after school which definitely drives their business. The place was also really dirty. I really feel bad for this place because they have the perfect size and location but their famous product is bad and their deli is dirty. If they make improvement to the quality of their food and clean up universe high hopes for this place.

The vodka panini is pretty darn satisfying. The staff is always friendly and Orlando, the owner, is always floating around. Pros: They take credit cards. interesting items like old fashioned soda pop. Convenient location. Quality ingredients. Cons: Seems to be a hangout for local high school kids, which might be a pro, if your in Manhasset high. Décor is super random.

You want an egg sandwich? This is the place. Want some cold cuts? Ditto. Slush Puppie? Check. Sodas and drinks? Check also. Look: I’ve been coming here forever. It’s good. Paninis are a good call here. Call ahead on weekends for breakfast sandwich pickup.

The only reason this place has business because they have tables for high schoolers to sit at and eat during their high school lunch breaks. Foods mediocre at best, and the chubby owner is a terrible person.

I’m from port Washington so I’ve been to this deli a lot growing up. Solid food. Bacon egg and cheese on a roll is a great way to start a day. Grilled chicken sandwich is fine too. Never disappointed. It’s true that is this is a very locals oriented townie place. I even feel out of place sometimes and I’m from the town next to manhasset. Never stops me from going in and laughing at the bill o’riely sign though

Local’s place, for sure, but they tolerate folks from out of town. i find the idiosyncrasies here — from the no-cell-phone-at-the-counter rule to the gruff mannerisms of the staff — to be old school New York charming. Food is very good here — top to bottom. Breakfast sandwiches are second to none in the area. As highlighted by others, items are pricey here — the primary downside to Orlando’s. the bonus: you can text your order to them — ready 10 minutes later when you arrive!

I am embarrassed for this small business at how rudely they treat their customers. I will make sure I never step foot in this business again.

I have been coming to Orlandos for over 10 years. Food is very fast, all the employees are very friendly. The quality of the food could be a little better and it is definitely a tad bit over priced. What you’re paying for is the convenience though. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a nice sandwich. It isn’t gourmet, but it will get the job done. They have a large seating area that get’s a little crowded with the after school rush, that can be very annoying. Super S. comment is true though, they have a weird Bill O’Reilly shrine behind the counter, but that’s only because he lives in the area. All in all a clean, fast, delicious deli with above average prices.

I’ve been coming to Orlando’s since I was a kid. They can be a little uppity when it comes to non-town folks and or non-regulars, but it’s called be polite and courteous and you’ll get it back in return. I’ve yet to have a bad experience here and while it’s not an outrageous deli, it’s a solid staple that has kept my business and my friendship for years.

This place is as bad as advertised. I have not been in here in many years, because I was so turned off by the lack of service one morning before hopping on the train for a game at the Meadowlands. They were slow, rude, and acted as if it were a favor to sell me something. Considering the place was empty at 9am on a September Sunday in Manhasset is a real testament to how bad this place truly is. With Plandome Road staples like Manhasset Deli, Louie’s and Gino’s, where the food is great and the service is as good, why would you ever set foot in orlando’s? Looking for a great deli in Manhasset? Go to Manhasset Deli a block away; The specialty sandwiches are far superior, and just try standing along the counter for more than a couple of minutes and not have 3 separate deli guys ask if you need anything. I wish I could say I’m surprised that they sell Bill O’Reilly books here, but I’m not. Bad service, bad food, and Bill O’Reilly books. It’s not surprising that such a crummy deli would hock O’Reilly’s books, because he probably stops in there for a crappy cup of coffee, and it seems to be just the type of transparent gimmick the people at Orlando’s would think is good for business.

I used to go to Orlando’s every day my senior year of high school just for their $ 3.75 Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a roll. I prefer the chicken vodka panini, but it’s overpriced. Some of the staff is nice and friendly, but the owner doesn’t seem happy to work there and has too many rules for customers such as specific seating areas reserved and closing early even when you’re still eating food.

The food is pretty good here — my friends like the chicken with ala vodka sauce in a panini — it’s cheesy and delicious! They close at 3pm on Sundays, which is when they shut the lights off and stared at us until we left(even though we had just received our food). So I was a bit turned off on that! But then, they have cinnamon buns that they can warm up for you. So it’s a give and take. :)

Food is average at best. They guy behind the counter is so dirty, I saw him pick up food with his bare hands and serve it on someone’s sandwich. I would never come here again. Its always filled with the local high school and junior high school kids as well. Plus everything is way overpriced.

Rude staff! Over priced for its quality. The staff and owner makes you feel like they’re doing you a favor by being there so you just wait until they’re good and ready to come to the register and ring you up. 10 mins later off you go with your cup of soup! Ugh!
