Progressive Urology

I am so glad my PCP referred me to Dr. Ohebshalom at the Forest Hills office of Progressive Urology. He recommended a cystoscopy and after I looked online I was absolutely beside myself with terror. Turns out it was nothing at all. He went in, did what he had to do, and I felt no pain. It took just minutes, and we found out what we needed to know (good results). We even had nice convo while he tour guided me through my inner passages as I watched myself on TV. The front office staff was always gracious and understanding, the sonogram person was focused and professional and the nurse who assisted was cool. So, if you gotta have a flexible cystoscopy, DO NOT let Internet research scare you off, just trust in Dr Ohebshalom.

This is by far the worst experience i have ever had as far as dealing with staff. The doctor is very nice but never followed up with me. I am going back for a simple procedure only because i dont have time or money to find another doctor. But this is a place i would avoid like the plaque.

if I could give them ZERO STARS I would! The receptionists are awful, the doctors are too busy to return phone calls. They billed us for tests they performed on me and didn’t even have the decency to give us with the results of the tests. I called and called to have the doctor read the results. I sent them a check after receiving the bill twice even though I never heard back from them about the results of my test. I wrote them a note to please call me with the results. Well they cashed my $ 900 dollar check but they never called me with my results! Til this day I am still trying to get in touch with them to find out the results of my tests.
I would never recommend anyone to go to his office. From the broken promises of both receptionists and doctors and he unwillingness to provide results of a test in just unprofessional!
I actually saw dr. Sherman Chan. He appeared to be a nice guy during my first meeting but after that it was like if he was a ghost. I could never get in touch with him again!
Don’t bother wasting your time or money with these people!

Horrible place with horrible people. They keep scheduling visits for unnecessary tests, max out my insurance. I had to do 3 visits for tests before I see the doctor, and at the end I was send to collections for tests my insurance had paid. I had to spend hours on the phone to get everything resolved. As of today I am still on collection because of their obnoxious billing people.
Don’t go !
