My fiancé and I had to take an emergency trip to Long Island and we ended up in this hotel due to a lack of other choices and an uncertainty about where we would be each night. Night one we stayed in what I call the«Prostitute Suite». The bed, rather than being made with a fitted sheet and a mattress pad of some sort, instead had a plastic mattress with two top sheets. I guess that makes the bed easier to hose down between customers? The result was a sweaty night’s sleep where the sheet kept coming untucked and we were sliding around on the bed listening to the crumpling of the plastic with every move we made. Night two there were no major problems with the room; however, the female clerk who checked us in was surly to the point of being scary and the room hadn’t been cleaned very well as there was a q-tip in plain sight on the floor of the hotel room. Nights three and four we spent in a room where there was a room darkening shade on only one side of the window, and come morning, the blaring sun made it hard to sleep. The redeeming quality was that the clerk on nights one, three, and four gave us a discount, which was nice of him.

This place is down right wrong! HORRIBLEOBNOXIOUSSERVICE!!! Its owned and managed by sleazy people. I’ve called a few days in advance to book a room for a night out. When I called initially, the day time guy told me they have a jacuzzi room which is quite«popular,» so I figured why not. He told me it was occupied and he didn’t know when the people occupying it would vacate. Hence why I called a dozen times in hope that it would. He took down my information to book another room just in case this one would pan out. After calling the day of, he notified me that it was not be vacant and I would have to go with the other room, which was fine by me. I confirmed with him that he took my reservation down. I’m a bit of a stickler when it comes to making plans, so I called an hour ahead of arrival to check on my room and there was another person answering the call. He told me not to worry, the place would have my room ready for me. Once I got there, the same man behind the counter, disgustingly rude and obnoxious man might I add, denies me a room. Why? No clue. He claims there is no reservation and starts giving me a enormous attitude when I told him a called a dozen times and spoke to both him and the other person on the phone to make sure there was something available. I asked him why he was being so rude and why he refused to give me a room and he claimed he was all booked and there was not one room available. Which was complete horse manure, since as I sat pissed off in the parking lot, i watched two couples walk inside and be given a room. Needless to say I will never return and will steer all my friends against this place. STAYAWAY
