Fresh Brothers

I hear so many amazing things about fresh brothers that I really wanted to love this place. The food taste down right like TV dinner. I got a basic pepperoni pizza, wings, and the cinnamon knots. It was eddible and not terrible but I honestly wouldn’t try anything else from Fresh Brothers. Shout out to DoorDash for being an awesone app.

I’ve given this place a chance three times. Mediocre pizza at way too high of price. First time I ordered 3 pizzas and wings $ 99 2^nd order 2 pizzas $ 55! I give two stars because at least it arrived warm.

This is a solid pizza joint a block from the Marriott Residence Inn — from where we had walked over around lunchtime.
We decided to order a kids pizza and an adult pizza, both deep dish. The former was a straight up cheese pizza with their «special» kids sauce (apparently full of puréed vegetables and other goodness), the latter half BBQ chicken, half buffalo chicken (a new offering according to the manager). We also ordered white chicken nuggets and fries for the kids.
The food took a while, but was worth the wait. The kids pizza was quite cheesy (which is probably why both our kids enjoyed it!), but the adult pizza (which came steaming out of the oven) was DELISH! The flavor on the BBQ chicken portion was perfect and the buffalo chicken portion had a kick to it without being overpoweringly hot.
Couple of areas for improvement:
— the nuggets were not good. Neither kid touched them after one bite, probably because they were too «doughy» — even smothering them in ketchup and ranch didn’t do the trick.
— this is clearly a delivery and takeout joint, but they can probably do better at accommodating sit down customers. We were quite uncomfortable on two benches (one quite rattly and unstable) and there wasn’t enough room on our tiny table for all our food.
I want to end the review on a good note, as they did more things right than wrong. And this includes the sweet knots, which are like mini cinnamon rolls. While the three knots they served ($ 2.99) were free with our Unilocal checkin, they were warm and glazed perfectly — the entire family enjoyed them, from baby all the way to grandma. I’d definitely order them again, free or not.
So if you find yourself in the area and are craving a high-​quality deep dish pizza, stop by Fresh Brothers. You’re welcome!

Four stars for the food itself. Pizza here is delicious. The only negative thing I could say is that the cheese on the cheese pizza was just a little too browned for us, but other than that it was perfect! I had an antipasto salad. It was perfect and made very quickly. The guys working were nice. I’ll definitely go back to this pizza place

They lie. They said it would be an hour and 15 minutes for delivery so I said how long would it work to pick it up they said 35 to 40 minutes. We switched the order to pickup. I arrived 40min after placing the order, it’s now been an hour after placing the order, I would’ve never ordered had I know that it was going to be an hour wait even if I were to go pick it up. If I were to have it delivered it probably would have been closer to 2 hrs.
Finally the Manager came out and explained that they made a mistake in the order when we switched it from delivery to pick up and they’re trying to make it now, at least he comped the pizza.
Normally we go with Valentino’s pizzas unless this is great we’re going to continue going w Valentinos. We just wanted to try a thin crust.

Their market salad is full of fresh veggies and if you order a small pizza to go with it I personally don’t feel as guilty. They offer delivery and are pretty accurate with timing. They also included a little bag with crushed red peppers and cheese, sometimes I indulge and ask for a side of ranch. Price isn’t too bad either. Good for lunch or dinner.

There are two reasons this is the perfect pizza place if you live Manhattan Beach. The first reason is because if you can afford to live in Manhattan beach then you will think the pizza prices are reasonable. Second, if you live in Manhattan Beach, you have a place near by to take your pizza and enjoy it.
My buddy and myself decided to try this place based on the Unilocal reviews. We aren’t from the area but were near by due to work. The place was hard to find. We actually passed to because we couldn’t find it. We did a U-​Turn and came back and noticed that the place shares the same building as Rubios. So from the street you see Rubios and behind that is Fresh Brothers.
We walked in and I was a little taken back by how small the place actually is. I counted the seats in the dinning area and it could hold up to 8 people. My buddy and myself got the one large table and it wasn’t big enough to for the large pizza, chicken wings and two drinks that we ordered. I asked them where the bathroom was because I wanted to use the restroom and wash my hands before eating. I was told by the staff that they didn’t have a restroom and that I would have to walk next door to the Rubios and that Rubios was used to Fresh Brother customers coming in. It seems kind of weird to me that you advertise on your menu that you offer dine in, but people can’t wash their hands unless they walk over to another establishment (Rubios). I’m curious what Rubios thinks of people coming into their business, using their water, soap and paper towels but aren’t spending money there… Just another heads up, they have a dining area but only sell bottled drinks. No soda fountain area for refills.
The pizza actually tasted fresh. I was very pleased with the taste. The dough was good and the ingredients were fresh but you are definitely going to pay for it. For one large pizza (8 pieces), two bottled drinks and an order of chicken wings, it came out to just under 45 dollars. That seemed high to me. In my opinion our meal should have been a 20 to 25 dollar meal at most.
So in ending, this place is good for the locals who have money to spend on expensive pizza and a home to go back to, to dine at. Everything I said in this Unilocal review is true and you should see for yourself.

I was all out of sand paper so I unfortunately had to eat fresh brothers pizza again.
It’s fucking terrible. I hate myself for giving them my money again. I expected to hate it and be disappointed and somehow it was still worse than what I was expecting.
I paid almost 30 bucks for a deep dish, two topping with the multigrain crust.
One bite all the cheese comes off. I feel like fresh brothers has taken not only my money but my dignity.
I’ve never tasted dick but this is what I imagine a bag of rhino dicks taste like.
If you eat this and like it you have a problem with yourself.

Yassss!!! The pizza is exactly fresh, the ingredients are real and fresh (and not synthetic), and the sauce is amazing. As far as the crust, it was super good — not too thick and not too thin, and easy to eat completely. I’d definitely recommend pizza from Fresh Brothers. You guys need to open locations on the east coast!

Great Spot. I’ve been three times. All good. The ingredients are fresh and the service is friendly. I would give 5 stars, but, last time I ordered from here we tried the boneless chicken wings. They we blah. Sauce was good, but the chicken was soggy. Maybe because it was a delivery.
Other than that, the pizza is great! It will definitely be in my rotation!

I was not pleased with the pizza the first time around so Fresh Brothers graciously offered me a gift certificate to try it again.
This time I ordered a skinny crust pizza and the antipasto salad (again), since it is fabulous (get Italian dressing, the ranch is not great). The skinny crust doesn’t seem very different from the thin crust, from what I recall. Maybe slightly better.
I like how the slices are cut into squares — reminds me of home (Chicago!). I do wish that they would either make the crust more yeasty & chewy or more crisp. Overall though, the skinny crust is A-​OK! Toppings are excellent.
If I find a coupon or a groupon I’ll try it again. I just wish the prices were a little lower.

Meh, not bad but not great. Messed up my order and had to wait. I appreciated their attempt to fix it so the service is pretty good.
Regarding the actual food… There are better options in Manhattan Beach for pizza. I think you’re actually committing a sin by not trying the other places first. It’s hard to find good pizza in LA so why get so close to it and then go here?
If you are going with Fresh Brothers I would recommend getting the sausage as a topping. It was really good and the chopped salads were better than expected.
Be sure to check in on Unilocal for your awkwardly small Meatball slider! You can eat in front of all your friends making them feel loved and appreciated.

Fresh Brothers pizza has been our «go-​to» pizzeria for several years. They run by a local (Manhattan Beach) family, and have recently expanded into other neighborhood. They’re delivery service has been exceptional; we rarely order from anywhere else. Usually takes about 30 minutes since that time that we put in our order, and there extremely reliable. Their basic pizza is (cheese, ham, sausage) our staples for our kids and we usually get a mix of vegetables and different cheeses and been extremely happy with it.
Their overall quality is superb, and along with their service I believe makes them 5 stars without question.

Fresh Brothers is one of the better pizza chains around.
I had an order of sliders and not usually being a fan of meatballs, these were excellent, I loved the crispy cheese, the sauce is good and the buns taste like King’s Hawaiian, very soft and fluffy.
The salads are also pretty good here.
Service was very nice, I ordered to go and it was ready in about 10 minutes.
Prices are fair and they have an expensive menu, good place for pizza.

Fresh Brothers is the pizza I crave in the LA market.
Always have to have a slice, but don’t forget their awesome salads and new meatball sliders.

I’m all about supporting Fresh Brothers. I learned of it through a Unilocal Elite event in West Hollywood where the owner lavished us with so many delightful dishes.
My daughter and I toggle between this location and its Redondo Beach location. Occasionally, the workers at the Manhattan Beach venue would agree to deliver to us even though we’re slightly out of the delivery area.
The guys (and occasionally girls) are always friendly here. Food is always of great quality.

I was really excited to try this place after reading everyone’s reviews, but I have to say the pizza was not great. Sorry Fresh Bros, but I can’t sweat you like everyone else in South Bay does.
The employees are sweet, and it was a pleasant experience ordering the food, and picking it up, but the pizza was not great.
It’s definitely not New York style, as some other Unilocalers have commented. As a New Yorker, I can tell you this is far from it. I normally just like to have a plain cheese pizza when trying a new pizza place, and to be honest, a plain cheese pizza is my favorite, but every once in a while, I’ll compromise with my hubby and get a pepperoni. It’s still pretty simple and gives me a good idea of the quality of the pizza. My hubby and I ordered the large pepperoni pizza with their regular crust. Their regular crust is pretty thin, which I prefer to a crazy thick Pizza Hut crust, but the crust was not great. Also, the pizza didn’t seem to have that many pepperoni slices on it.
I thought it was not worth the price and it kind of tasted like pizza I make at home. It was small, and thin, and I was still hungry after eating half of it. My hubby and I split it, and we were both thinking we could’ve eaten two large pizzas. I may come back, but I’ll probably try something else.

Pizza! You want it. Fresh Brothers has it. Don’t over think this. It’s Pizza. You want it.
This isn’t my favorite Fresh Brothers location, but it’s the same Fresh Brothers pizza … and on many days that’s all you need in life, right? Besides being convenient pizza on PCH (Sepulveda at that point), a cool Unilocal check-​in offer for a free Meatball Slider is hard to pass up.
If I didn’t love Fresh Brothers Pizza … so much, I’d probably rate this location as just 3 stars, but I’m rounding up for the check-​in deal and appreciation for the pizza. Service at the counter was especially off the afternoon I popped in for a medium half Hawaiian Pizza (Ham & Pineapple) and half Fresh Momma’s Favorite Pizza (Spinach, Garlic, Mushrooms, & Pesto) while dine-​in options are limited so I recommend your pizza to go or for delivery.
Fresh Brothers has pizza. You want pizza. Don’t over think this.

Placed an order for pick up and it was ready when I got there. The toppings are fresh, we ordered «Da Works» with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onion. Also ordered their garlic knots. Knots were delicious! Not oily or greasy and very fluffy. The meatball slider was full of flavor and very juicy. I’ll definitely come back! Wished they delivered to my area though.
