My friend and I are very particular about what we feed our pets. When she told me this place gave 10 free sample bags of their food just for your first visit, I was interested. The guy who showed us around also told us about how they cook their food on-​site. He seemed nice. When we asked about the 10 bags, he said they didn’t do that, but that he could give each of us 4 free sample bags. My friend and I selected our 4 and picked up some other items as well. I didn’t notice that we had been charged for the 4 «free» samples until I had already gotten home. I assumed the guy who rang us up would ring us up properly, since he was the one who told us we could get the 4 bags for free.
As far as the food goes, they do use use grains (rice, etc). I’m not a fan of any company that uses grains in their food. Roeg didn’t like the samples we BOUGHT, but he does seem to like their snack items. Be warned… it is VERY pricey for the small amount that you get.

JFFD is really great. I learned about them when one of my dogs was going through cancer treatment. She liked it so I decided to try it out on my other dog. For the 11 years that he’s been in my life he hadn’t cared about food at all. But now he eats like a dog is supposed to. He loves the food — beef and potato as well as turkey and macaroni are his favorites. It’s so nice to know that he’s getting good quality food. His coat his shiny and he’s a healthy guy. He’s now 12 and going strong. Plus the probiotics are great too!

I’m close to tears. My sweet angel, a 14.5 yr old shepherd had lost his appetite and really wasn’t eating. I feed my other kids raw or home cooked meals. I stopped here just hoping they had something that would work for my old guy. The lady was very helpful & sweet. She even gave me some samples to try.
I held my breath this morning as I gave Baloo some turkey. He gobbled the entire packet. I’m so excited that he ate something. I can’t wait to try more flavors.

The people in here are really friendly and informative. They use great products and cook the food onsite.

My dog absolutely loves it! First time trying, my brother and I went in, just to check it out. Someone approached us and introduced herself and explain about the food and company. They gave us free samples, and booklet explaining about the food. Got home and followed the I instructions and let my dog try and she absolutely loved it! I’ll definitely be back!!!

All I can say is WOW!!. Heard of this place and wanted to try it. Was in the area the other day, so stop in really not expecting much. When I walked in I was greeted by 2 of the staff members who took their time to explain the different menu choices. After talking to them it was obvious they are dog people. Want to get small package for Bella to try. Got the grain free /​gluten free venison & squash, fish & sweet potato, salmon fillet special. I mix her dry kibble with the JFFD and Bella loved it, she was licking her bowl after the food was all gone. The daily meals come in 7 oz, 18 oz, 72 oz and 25 lb. Also they gave me some samples of their treats. Awesome place will be back to get more food.

I have 3 cocker spaniels, 2 boys and a girl. My little girl is easy, she will eat anything. My boys on the other hand are so picky. One of them would spend 20 – 30 minutes picking out the kibble pieces he liked and dropping the pieces he didn’t on the floor. The other would just lay next to his bowl and not eat a thing unless we hand fed him, we tried not to baby him and he went 3 days without eating, we couldn’t take it. Our vet told us about JFFD, we went in and were lucky enough to meet with the founder, Sean (we didn’t know who he was at the time). After Sean explained the dog food industry to us, I never wanted to feed my dogs kibble ever again. I was nervous though, I have those picky boys to please. On Sean’s advice we fed the dogs JFFD (he gave me a sample pack) and their kibble side by side in a bowl, both my boys gobbled up the JFFD and ignored their kibble. My little girl ate it all. We have been using JFFD for 2 months now, all 3 of them eat their food without prompting or being hand fed. We have cooked the food using their recipe when we have time and we buy a bucket when we don’t have time to cook. I read other reviews that the customer service was not good, I have not had that experience at all. If I email my order, I always get a response, same goes for my phone messages. I have also found the staff and customer service reps to be knowledgeable and friendly. Now I wish they would make Just Food For Cats too. :)

This place is awesome! They really care about your pet here. They cook fresh homemade food and treats for dogs in the onsite kitchen and bakery. They use only the highest quality, USDA certified, restaurant grade meats, fresh vegetables and whole grains. Their food is nutritionally balanced and very healthy! My dog absolutely loves loves loves it and we’re so excited this location finally opened up. Also, the entire staff is super friendly and helpful. :)))))
